strange distress

Me and my aries friend discussed yesterday that we felt strange. Restless, angry, even agressive. Extremely diffícult to focus on anything. Like waiting for something BIG to happen but do not know what. It is a little bit like waiting for the world to go under, and thinking it´s a good thing.

We both have sun opp natal venus within these days. But we both felt the strange feeling so strong, I wonder if it could be caused by something else. Saturn is square pluto now, uranus and neptune are exactly 30 degrees apart.

Anyone else feel big distress?

The last time this occured in the same signs, was in 1776.

Enlightenment philosopher and author Thomas Paine was preparing his 'American Crisis' pamphlets. The first volume begins with the famous words,'These are times that try men's souls.

King George III in his first speech to the British Parliament acknowledges that since the Declaration Of Independence the war with the U.S is not going well.

Yes, deeply!!

I think it's everything - all of it.

Today, tr Mars in Leo forms a separating square with tr Sun in Scorpio. A few days ago, tr Mars and tr Pluto were inconjunct. These are not easy energies.

I wouldn't bet on it..... about Saturn, that is.

Every sensitive person I know is having a hard time with the current planetary setup. It feels relentless. And something is building up. I can feel it.

Re: strange distress

Saturn enters Libra October 29th 2009 at 1:09PM Eastern time and will stay in Libra until April 6th 2010 when it dips back into Virgo, then re enters Libra July 7th 2010 and will stay in Libra until October 5th 2012.

Saturn in libra could mean breakup of relations that are not harmonious, and creating new harmonious ones. But cause it´s about saturn here, nothing will come w/o hard work

Interesting, saturn is going to be around the "aries point" for a while. Aries point is actually 0 degrees aries but some say it is 0 degress all cardinal signs. I don´t know what this all means, but there will be squares and oppositions between saturn and pluto& uranus.
Saturn-uranus opposition we have all felt the past year, and last was 15 oct, quite recently but there´s still two to go:
April 26, 2010 (Saturn Rx 28 Virgo/Uranus 28 Pisces)
July 26, 2010 (Saturn 0 Libra/Uranus Rx 0 Aries)

Then we have this,

November 15, 2009 (Saturn 1 Libra/Pluto 1 Capricorn)
January 31, 2009 (Saturn Rx 4 Libra/Pluto 4 Capricorn)
August 20, 2010 (Saturn 2 Libra/Pluto Rx 2 Capricorn)

I just gave the facts, hope somebody can try to elaborate what it all could mean.

I also notice the fact that mars will stay in leo for another eight months and go back over the eclipse point of 13 degrees leo and almost reach the eclipse point of 29degrees cancer.

All of this,Mars entering leo, Jupiter going direct, saturn shifting signs - around Oct 15.

Re: strange distress

Yes, I'm an Aries Sun & Moon & I've been feeling the tension, too! Most was felt this past weekend, (Oct 24/25th) between me & my close relationships (2 sisters, a cousin, a best friend). Also, some things at work have been changing. I just hope not my job! But whatever happens, I'll have to deal with. My IC/MC axis is 29" Pisces/29" Virgo, so, I am bound to feel the tension between Saturn & Uranus! I am hoping since T.Pluto is conj. my N. POF, perhaps something good will transform.

Gweny, you brought up a good point that Mars in Leo will be going over the eclipse point again! I forgot that Mars will go Rx soon. Mars is transiting my 8th & rules my 5th & with Pluto conj POF in first...uhmmm, sounds creative!

Oh, & a lady I work with just told me that her daughter & her boyfriend (both Aries) broke up & he moved out on Sunday, Oct 25th. However, they're still talking...

Re: strange distress

Chiron is direct tomarrow.
Neptune is dirrect in 5 days.

Full moon November second.

Some hard squares right now, but nothing like we will have in 2010.

Aspects like...
Saturn opposite Uranusconj jupiter, tsquare Pluto conj. moon..
things like that for the upcoming year..and lots of it...
these planets Rx and play this game back and forth all summer.
it doesn't look pleasant at all.
It looks like it *****.

Uranus conj. Juputer at 0 aries is the most intersting thing I have seen for next year...that with the square to pluto in early capricorn.
then the opostions it will see next year around the late virgo, early libra.

All of this not to long before the start of my saturn return.
Yahoo.. Yahoo..

Alright so...
What else is there..
I don't know..

right now I'd say Nuptune and Chiron are playing role.
This summer had that chiron, jupiter neptune conj. in Aqua.

Next year, to my eye, not a very good eye, looks harder then this year.
Except for the eclipses..
I think there's less eclipses.
I'd have to look, but this summer was relentless.

I don't know about everyone else, but I'm tired.
Rest, recouperate.
Watch your drink and whatever drugs you do now for whatever reason.

I like caution.
I'm a cautions person.
I don't like paranoya.
I'll take awareness over paranoya any day.

It's too ahrd to give advice, people are so differnet, have their own charts and aspects.
If you have planets at early cardinal points, your being slapped right now.

I only have venus early in cancer.
that one hurts. that one hurts really bad.

Also anything in the fixed signs.
that stelium in aquarious is making me slightly pissy.

If it were up to me, personally..
Neptune would hurry its *** up into Piscies.
Jupiter would get out of aquarious.
chiron would implode.
And the man on the moon would swallow his own head.
It's only proper justice after this summers eclipses and moon phases.

If you think I'm being serious here, leave me alone.

I think this summer was hard.
December mingt not be that bad.
maybe a few bumps..nothing too insane.
Hopefully.

Next year..? don't know.... it looks hard.

Re: strange distress

Sure what Tsquare said about jupiter conj uranus looks interesting. Had not noticed that. It will be exact at end may mid june 2010. Following saturns opp to uranus.

Jupiter and Uranus are aligned every 14 years but only every 42 years does this alignment occur in Aries or Libra. As I see this, it´s not a bad thing.

I think when it comes to these saturn-uranus oppositions or conjunctions, on should look in which house they fall. For me they are in my 10/4 house axis. And guess what, the greatest distress in my life the past months has been my confusion between career and home. Or more specificly, me becoming aware of the problem. Seeing it´s the root of my unhappiness and trying to change things.

Gwenyhrair, you have hit on something important there, in that it is not the Saturn-Uranus opposition which is the problem, but how we perceive and approach the effects of what it affects in our lives.

This is such an important distinction to make. Many - particularly those new to astrology - look at an up-coming transit and freak out in advance. This is where study/research, acceptance and understanding are so, so important in maximising the potential of any transit.

Re: strange distress

Uranus is passing through my 12th house. The moon transited and joined Uranus sometime this last week. I thought something disastrous would happen. But what I found was a realization. A realization a long time coming.
Uranus rules my 11th and 12th and is placed in my 5th in Leo at 13 degrees thus sensitive to the dragons head lunar August 5th. Uranus is opposing moon and squaring sun.
There is a lot going on and a lot of tension. I know my life is changing and I am changing. It has been an external (break up of relationship and mother moving from family home ) and internal (realizations of psychological issues in relationship that have set me free ).
I know there is much more to come with Pluto near my MC/IC and Saturn at my Dc. Thus I know now that a lot may be a psychological journey but can also be external events.

Re: strange distress

Anybody have a guess on mars going over the eclipse points? Mars has not been this long time in leo since the early sixties (or so I´ve read).

How´s this affecting people with planets in leo/aquarius and scorpio/taurus? Now this scares the ....out of me!

I have tr. Mars currently conj both my natal Merc & Sun in Leo, both in 7th. Has been `interesting' to say the least. Have had to do a lot of letting go - mainly of my life-long need to control all the bits & pieces in my life, and just let things be.

I have spent many months - during the eclipses - feeling scared, and now Mars has shown me the folly of this, as there is a larger and more sane picture which I have previously been unable to see.

Generally, fear is created when we view the future as being just like the past..... and it doesn't have to be.

Re: strange distress

Ouch, you have mars retro over your sun (r4ven)

Mars was retro in Leo in 1995 but did not stay in leo this long. Now it goes all back to 0 degrees. In 1995 it did square my as-des axis, and I went into a fatal relationship during that period . What happened to you then?

I see that when mars was retro conj my Desc in 2005 I lost that partner for good, and it was a very hurtful divorce. So we were together for almost 11 years - starting and ending with mars retrograde. HUH?

Yes mars is retro every 2 years, but not always does it go over ones personal planets many times. So in my adult life this has not happened many times.I think when a planet moves back over a point in a natal chart there is an extra teaching. Normally mars just rushes by, now we should consider what he wants to say to us.

Gwenyhfair, thanks so much for that link. It has allowed me to check back and confirm what happens when Mars has gone Rx over my Leo Saturn (in 8th) and Leo Pluto (in 7th, but 8th house cusp, so very 8th housey).....................

Late `62 - into `63: My mother had to really stand up to my father (not an easy thing to do) to ensure I had equal educational opportunities to my brothers, and so equal job opportunities. (I have only discovered this in restrospect.)

early 1995: I left my work due to illness, but took around 3 months to squeeze back-pay (I'd been underpaid for 5 years!) out of my employer - which was a government department, and so pretty much like my father!! - i.e. thought it was above the law! I did get the money - eventually.

I'm looking forward to Mars going direct over these points this month, and then May-June next year, as all these issues re `my worth/value as a woman' have all been re-emerging.

So thanks again, G....... your post above has helped me to put a few things together.....
