Weekly Horary Astrology"Will Turkey win the match against Croatia?"Horary astrology questionThis question was asked by myself when I found out that there was an upcoming football match between Croatia and Turkey at the Under 17 years cathegory. I asked the above question out of pure interest, wanting to the whish to study a sports horary question. There was no evident reason for asking about Turkey and not about Croatia. The question was asked on May 11, 2005, at 2:31 pm EED, in Tirgu Mures, Romania (46e34, 24e33).
However the chart explains it: Turkey is a country which is ruled in astrology by the sign of Virgo, and in this chart Virgo is rising. Seeing this coincidence, there was nothing more natural than assigning the 1st house to Turkey (ruler Mercury), the 7th to Croatia (ruler Jupiter), the 10th to Turkey's success and the 4th to Croatia's success. Considering the chart this way it was more than obvious that Turkey would win, since the Moon is located in the 10th house and applies by sextile to Mercury, ruler of both 1st and 10th houses (Turkey). Both Mercury and Jupiter are peregrine, but Jupiter (Croatia) is also retrograde which is a sign of weakness. So, no difficulty in delineating this chart: Turkey would win.
