So ...

I have trouble understanding T squares, the 12th house and the 6th house (among other things). I have a major T square involving all of them in my natal chart.

My Taurus moon (12th house) is in opposition to My Scorpio Uranus (6th house). Both of them are square to the My Leo Sun, Venus and Jupiter (4th house). Those three Leo Planets and in very close opposition to my MC Cusp in Aquarius. Of course, this forms another T square between the Moon, Uranus and MC.

My Data is 15 August 1979. 00:30 am. Cairo, Egypt. (GMT+2)

T-square

Sorehearted,

The easiest way to think about the T-square is that it focuses energy into the place where the two squares connect. So, in your case Moon (home, also emotions) and Uranus (friends, also impulse) are focused on Leo (self-expression, also dating) Sun conjunct (energy is combined with) Jupiter (expansion) conjunct Venus (relationships) conjunct Nadir (inner world) focused in the 4th house (home, also emotions).

So there is a LOT of impulsive emotional energy focused on MANY (expansion) dating-relationships. The challenge of this aspect is that the person could be rushing from dating into a relationship without finding out whether the relationship has long-term possibilities. The result is many broken off relationships and (possibly) soreheartedness? ;)

A possible solution is in the trines (energy flows very easily with) from the stellium (collection of conjunction energy) to Neptune (spirituality). Perhaps having some type of spiritual relationship which will ground you emotionally will help. Joining and participating in yoga, meditation, etc. groups might be helpful. And, also, perhaps, in learning to not be too attached to your relationships. People come and people go but the ones who are with you for the long term are hard to find...but worth waiting for.

So go out, make some friends, go on dates, and cure your soreheart! ;)

Relationally spiritual,

Tim

Tim,

Thank you for your interpretation. It was very helpful. There is something that I don't understand though. I don't have as much "expansion" (jupiter) in the area of romance as a general rule. I either have sooooooo many ineterests at the same time or no one at all for a really long time. Both are usually hard to accept and recover from (this soreheart is a Taurus, you know). I don't know where the long stretches of romanatic activity/numbness come from come from. Could it be Neptune in the 7th house? Or maybe Pluto in the 5th house?

Oh well, thank you for your input. I think I will learn a lot from you.

Expansion

Sorehearted,

I either have sooooooo many ineterests at the same time or no one at all for a really long time.

Having many interests at the same time is EXACTLY what I mean by expansion. And, similarly, you can have "expansion" of a LACK of interests (as you indicate). Expansion simply means a LOT of something: desires, boredom, frustration, etc. The challenge of Jupiter is to use the "expansion" in a helpful way. And, while Venus has to do with relationships, it also has to do with what we desire...and THAT could be where your "many interests" come from: Jupiter (expansion) conjunct (energy is combined with) Venus (physical, also desires). Venus rules BOTH Taurus (physical, also desires) and Libra (relationships), but, since you have TAURUS modifying Venus, the Taurus-side (i.e, physical, also desires) is the place where your Venus comes from.

Self-correcting and explaining,

Tim

Very interesting -- I've been thinking of the T as a bad thing. But this explanation implies the T provides lots of energy that can be put to good use...and personal evolution if I'm understanding it correctly.

To what extent do the tightness of the orbs influence this?

To try an example from my own chart... T with Jupiter in Taur. (7th) and Neptune in Scorp (1st) focused on Mars in Leo (10th). Would this be interpreted as the need to work in partnership, incorporating spirituality all focused on achievement/career?

A second T is Sat (4th) and Mars (10th) focused on Jupiter. Exercising discipline in a home-based business leading to evolution through relationships.

These interpretations feel a bit simplistic and off, but is this on the right track?

Thanks,

Sounds good!

This interpretation sounds good to me. The test is does it sound good to YOU? Do you have a strong drive to take action (and get recognition) in your career? Do you find yourself focusing on a desire for relationships a great deal? Answers to these and other questions you create will help you understand the meaning of your interpretations.

Encouraging astrological self-exploration,

Tim
