How has this year flown by?! It feels like only 3 months ago that 2024 started! 😮

December seems to be a month of many mix-ups, snafus, change of plan, what with the lunations, Mercury retrograde for the first half of the month, Neptune stationing direct, and the second Jupiter/Saturn square, all in Mutable signs.

Transitions, transmuting, leaving things half-finished due to a sudden change of minds .... something Mutable signs are renowned for! Not the best month for tight deadlines.

Note that Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn are all in double-bodied sign (Gemini = two twins, Sagittarius = half human/half horse, Pisces = two fish). So there may be a theme of duality, two conflicting choices, ideas, desires, outcomes.

Also there is Venus conjunct at at 0° Aquarius. This is an exact repeat of around the middle of February 2024 when the same aspect, same sign, same degree had occured. That time, Mars was in Aquarius and also conjunct. Separate thread here.

This time around, Mars will be in the opposite sign of Leo and retrograde! Think about what occurred back then, and what may be up for some kind of echo or repeat, what with Mars Retrograde opposition. Especially in terms of romantically, given Venus/Mars opposition.

Finally, I hope you all have a great Christmas and that Santa (or Jupiter) gives you all the gifts you wished for 🙂

Without further ado:

1st - New Moon at 9°33' Sagittarius - square Saturn Pisces - opposite Jupiter Gemini

6th
- Inferior conjunction of Sun/Mercury at 14°27' Sagittarius - halfway point of Mercury retrograde

6th - Mars stations retrograde at 6°10' Leo

7th
- Venus enters Aquarius - enters Mutual Reception with Uranus Taurus

7th - Neptune stations direct at 27°08' Pisces

7th
- Venus conjunct Pluto at 0°23' Aquarius (second conjunction of 2024, first was 17th Feb: 0°52' Aquarius)

12th - Venus Aquarius opposite Mars Leo retrograde at 5°58'

15th - Mercury stations direct at 6°24' Sagittarius

15th
- Full Moon at 23°53' Gemini - conjunct Jupiter Gemini - square Neptune Pisces

18th
- Lilith Libra opposite Chiron Aries at 19°04'

21st - Sun enters Capricorn - Solstice time!

24th - Jupiter Gemini square Saturn Pisces at 14°01' - second pass (first was 19th August at 17°27')

26th - T-square of Mercury Sagittarius, Jupiter Gemini, and Saturn Pisces at 13° to 14°

28th - Venus Aquarius square Uranus Taurus at 23°44' - Mutual Reception

29th - Chiron stations direct at 19°00' Aries

30th - second New Moon at 9°44' Capricorn - sextile Saturn Pisces

31st
- Pluto Aquarius sextile North Node Aries at 1°02'

How will the transits of December affect your chart? Mundane thoughts welcome 🙂

I know these threads are usually for more personal posts regarding the transits to one's own chart, however a piece of mundane news that's of interest is the International Criminal Court issuing an arrest warrant for Benjamin Netanyahu.

The New Moon configuration alongside the stress from the Saturn Jupiter square -- which afflicts his natal Virgo Saturn to close out a grand cross -- is particularly relevant to Netanyahu due to his ascendant's location at 13 Sagittarius. Saturn afflicts his natal Moon by Antiscia (12 Pisces/19 Libra), and activates his Libra stellium by proxy. It is said that the natal chart of the heads of state affects the entire country which they govern, and this controversial step taken by ICC has been met with mixed reactions by the global community. Some are standing with the Netanyahu and castigating the ICC, while others are willing to comply with the ICC insuring that Netanyahu is brought to justice.

Neptune's Station on the 7th and the Full Moon on the 15th will directly hit his MC/IC axis.

I don't mind both personal and mundane/global observations on the monthly write-ups 🙂

It's a good way of gauging how the planetary aspects are playing out. Oftentimes the collective macro energies play out with similar themes (to a much lesser degree) in the micro/personal arena.

An obvious example was the first assassination attempt on Trump, Mars/Uranus/Algol, when he got shot in the ear.

In the micro, not as drastic but Algol was still manifesting, I noticed people around me were getting head injuries, or suffering from headaches, that very same week. I myself had a bumpy bruise on my forehead (it accidentally collided with the windowsill🤦)

Let's see what happens on the 6th Dec as well, he will have the Cazimi/Inferior conjunction of Sun/Mercury retrograde at 14° conjunct his Ascendant. It's the halfway point of the retrograde.

The Cazimi means "in the heart of the Sun" when the energies and themes of the transiting planet becomes greatly amplified, after a period of combustion when the planet is dazzled by the Sun's rays and therefore "unseen".

With Mercury it could manifest as a blinding clarity when the Cazimi hits. Interesting that the conjunction also falls on the Great Attractor.

Then Mercury will backtrack into his 12th house. Secrets to be revealed?

Had to edit the original post:

30th - second New Moon at 9°44' Capricorn - sextile Saturn Pisces

Well, that snuck up on me, where was that hiding?! Two New Moons in the same month! 😮

Thank you, great write up for Xmas time. I’m looking forward to Neptune leaving Pisces and NN leaving Aries, so it’s good to see both will be on their way.

Amen to that!

Neptune Pisces has been diabolical. I thought it would be more positive, given its in its sign of domicile, but all that meant was that Neptune was able to operate at its maximum potential, including in its worst way.

I think we may see a subtle shift as it stations direct, and makes its final journey out of Pisces. Okay there will be a brief 4 month revisit back to Pisces at the end of 2025, but most of 2025 will give Neptune enough time to get a feel for the energies of Aries, nearly 7 months solid!

Rather noteworthy that the North Node will be moving from Aries to Pisces, and Neptune is moving from Pisces to Aries. A changing of the guards there!

It certainly has been diabolical. I was initially really looking forward to it making an aspect to my chart, because such aspects said it would raise my feelings to an ‘exalted pitch’ and it would be all sunshine and rainbows. Pfff. Instead, it’s been difficult and weird. Not romantic or dreamy at all.

Thank goodness it turns direct at the beginning of December!

It will make one of its final journeys through the last degrees of Pisces, entering the Anaretic 29° degree once again in March 2025, but this time finally making the ingress into Aries

Earlier this year from May through to September, it reached the Anaretic degree and stayed there, getting as close as 29°56' Pisces, just barely minutes away from Aries! But then stationed retrograde, close but no cigar.

We will see a last return to Pisces on Oct 23rd 2025, staying only at 29° and then finally leaving Pisces for good on Jan 27th 2026. Three months.

Perhaps some unfinished business there, maybe that's when the fog will finally lift for good, and the true clarity of what was happening all along will arrive? Neptune has three stages: fantasy - disillusionment - clarity. This may be quite tough for some who are still holding onto the dream, which may just stay that way.

By then, we would have had a good solid 6 months of Neptune Aries, so we may be able to gauge what the new energies feel like 🙂

The planetary alignments of the month of December suggest that this is a good time for change, introspection and decision making. Mercury retrograde continues until mid-month and the Jupiter-Saturn square will bring duality and conflicts in decision making particularly in areas of communication and planning for the future. Aquarius’ conjunction of Venus brings reminders of February’s themes, but with Venus-Mars opposition, new evaluations in relationships occur. The Solstice brings the Capricorn energy to restore order when the Mutable signs are all over the place, so to speak. Personal transits should be observed to gain insight into how to handle these changes.

I was pondering today, and I'm wondering why life is escalating for the worse.

I'm not being all pity party-ish, I am not even talking about my own life (aside from emergency organ removals!). But I'm noticing many people around me are going through extreme challenges that are really unusual as well, could be described as "freakishly terrible". Either with health or relationship matters.

Noticed it started since September, around when Pluto went back into Capricorn, and probably to do with the sustained after-effects of the Eclipses too.

Increased size of Missiles and abundance of Vasectomies relate to the December pack; Mars-Pluto opposition which adds Th conflict and missiles, cutting cord for Vasectomy. Pluto in Aquarius fits well for more procedures of a very Marian enerrgy (sex) with the Saturn-Jupiter lack of abundance. In the US they are threatened with restriction to abortion everywhere etc, so some men taking on the role to stop pregnancy. Saturn-Jupiter has a lack of abundance.

I don't live there, but Im just watching astrology unfold.

Just read about it myself, a massive increase in scheduled vasectomy appointments in the US since the election results, although % numbers vary, it still looks extremely high.

Definitely the Mars/Pluto opposition, I also think it ties in with the Mars-ruled North Node Aries coming to an end (we only have around 5 weeks left of that)

In other news, the Notre Dame will be launching the Opening Ceremony on 7th Dec, the days after Mars stations retrograde, and Neptune stations direct.

This marks the complete restoration of the cathedral after a fire almost entirely destroyed it on 15th April 2019. Uranus had only just entered Taurus for the final time (March 7th 2019) and had reached 2°.

Taurus representing something immovable, long-standing, secure, but along comes Uranus to upend that. Venus ruled, a structure of beauty.

I have noticed that when Uranus enters a sign fully, something major happens (with Aries, it was the Japan earthquake/tsunami)

It's rather nice that it's now been restored and regenerated, to something that has been described as "exceptional luminosity"

Understandably, Mars will be retrograde = fireproof! 🤞

It's also on the Venus/Pluto conjunction at 0°23' Aquarius - the resurrection (Pluto) of a beautiful (Venus) structure, not restored to its former glory, but into something new (Aquarius) 🙂

And it's coming up to the end of Uranus Taurus (we only have 7 months of that left!). It's quite fitting that it almost got destroyed at the beginning of Uranus Taurus, and now we are reaching the final months, it has been fully rebuilt again.

I wish the people of Notre Dame cathedral all the best!! 🙂🙂

That's when more stress began for me, too. Couldn't put my finger on it. Thought maybe the eclipses were, in part, responsible. Let up somewhat when tr Saturn went direct (heading off my Mars).

Is anyone feeling the Mars stationing yet? It seems it's in tandem with Neptune at a standstill, as that prepares to turn direct. Feels like a real slowing down, and a rather listless feeling

How are you all feeling the Mars/Neptune stations?
