Did I do the right thing dropping psychology?!!!

Hi everyone!!

I have recently changed from studying psychology to media at uni. I had some anixiety about making this trastion. I would love to work in a modeling agency as an agent or other roles in that industry or in the media side as an editorial assistant/community relations assistant. I guess i am concerned i will not get as good as a role as i would like...and I am so career obsessed ...it has always been my biggest dream to have a good career.

Does anything in my chart point to what career I'd be good at?

I'm not a pro astrologer but I'll give my take. Ultimately its up to you not the chart. We both have uranus in the 10th house under the sign of sagittarius. When I had a consultation done for me the astrologer said that Uranus related to the media (among other things, but in my case I was writing treatments for shows so she brought it up), like the TV and that under sagittarius it would be on a grand scale. A kind of media that reached larger audiences hence television. Or it could be an agency that you work for that's reaches more people. Also with Leo being the ruler of the 6th house of work or your daily job, its not a psychology kind of thing. However, I am not sure if you'd want to do this, but can you double major? That way you wouldn't be carrying around this lingering doubt. If you double major you wouldn't have to go back to school should you decide that you should have stuck with psychology. I would double major if I were you. Psychology is more secure than a field like media. So you would have something to fall back on if you liked both fields.

I don't know if you made the right choice or not. The lesson you can learn from this self-doubt is to follow your heart and passion. Focus on that.

With your tenth house (career) planets you could do well in the communications etc occupations that you've listed and with your Pluto in its native house (8th) and native sign (Scorpio) your interest in psychology is apparent and you'd be good at that. But you have to follow the inner calling...

There are people that say that nothing in life is a mistake, that everything that happens we learn from. That is the purpose in life. To learn, grow and experience.

Funny, I did exactly that. Went from psyc to media major and then worked at the industry you mentioned. PM me if you have specific real-world questions about the market.

One of my usual sayings are; if you are in serious doubt, it is usually the best to quit because something is telling things are not right. Unless you are still dead set in your ways and have the stamina to push through, best is to at least quit for the time being. Maybe the passion will return with time.
