with Mike Todd still in honeymoon phase within two years duration. Easy to idealise at that stage. Who knows whether it would have lasted?
Nodal conjunctions are very powerful. Richard Burton was an alcoholic and she was drinking heavily when with him. It was a volatile partnership and probably rather destructive on some levels.
I doubt the love affair marriage with Todd would have lasted anymore than the other marriages did. However, I had no idea that Mike Todd was married twice before Liz and had a son who was 3 yrs younger then Liz was . That's interesting. It does look like they also had great synastry (Fire, water )

It was St David’s day in the UK yesterday, which is a day for celebrating all things Welsh.

The Sun-Moon conjunction in Scorpio aspect in synastry between them clearly demonstrated in this photo below, as Richard Burton passes Elizabeth Taylor a daffodil, the national flower of Wales. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 🌼

And here they are singing a Welsh song together at Sammy Davis Jr’s new talk show in 1966. Elizabeth is wearing red for Wales.

There is a 3-part BBC documentary available to stream called ‘Elizabeth Taylor: Rebel Superstar.’

No doubt, a lot of it will focus on her turbulent live life - which makes sense with a Venus-Uranus Aries 5th house placement.

Not to mention that she has a black hole conjunct her Venus, which I recently discovered (see above post).

The 3rd part focuses on her AIDS charity work, which is not to be forgotten.

Elizabeth lived an overtly dramatic and opulent life, with many hurt and scorned lover’s and spurned women along the way, but she did make it good in the end, though her AIDS work.

I have often wished for Marilyn to have been a bit more shallow, like Elizabeth was, and then she might have been happier. But Marilyn’s heartbreak in her childhood, forced her to grow up too quickly to the harsh realities of life, whereas it took Elizabeth until the 2nd part of her life. Nevertheless, it is a credit to Elizabeth that she did come good in the end.

That being said, the reason I like Elizabeth Taylor, is for the juicy gossip that her said lifestyle induced!

Oh, and just to add, there is meant to be a Richard Burton BBC documentary being released by the end of this year too!

I watched ‘The VIP’s’ last night, starring Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton, and also recently deceaseMaggie Smith, who I was not expecting.

Elizabeth’s abundance of Venusian energy is apparent, as she looks absolutely alluring throughout the movie.

It is a pretty good film too. Filmed just at the tail-end of the Cleopatra filming, in order to capture the buzz around the new couple.

In fact, it was so soon after the affair started between Taylor and Burton, that during the filing of The VIP’s, Burton had not yet left his wife, and was switching between the two, staying at The Dorchester with Elizabeth, and returning to his wife, who was in London to be with him.

He did eventually choose to leave his wife to be with Elizabeth and the rest, they say, is history.

A lovely article about the film by Vanity Fair —

‘I love you so much, Elizabeth!’

‘Sorry, remind me, which husband are you again?’

Eddie Fisher’s transformation during the transit of Pluto conjunct his Venus, had turned him into from being one of the most popular singers in the US…and into, Elizabeth’s official zipper upper-er and bag holder…

Of course, the downgrade in his reputation and profession, did have a couple of perks…

[Moderator-created thread: created by moving general comments about Elizabeth Taylor out of a thread about Elizabeth Taylor's birth time]

This thread needs to be revived. Elizabeth Taylor led such an exciting life and her passionate and intense romances, especially Richard Burton, hasn’t even been delved into yet!

ET has Venus conjunct Uranus in Aries, what more could you expect from a woman who was married 11x’s I think it was, to 10 men (Married Richard Burton twice).
8 times married and 7 men. Some say she had Sagittarius rising and some say Libra.
