For other Scorpios -- What sign do you prefer to date (get involved with)?

I'm a gemini and I've dated quite a few moon in scorpios even married one. I also have quite a few friends with moon in scorpio. I can't figure out what the connection is. There's nothing in my chart that would strongly indicate me having a connection with moon in scorpio. I just like them that's all.

Yes, the thread is not about Sun signs, as I am not even a Sun sign Scorpio.

I was just about to post 'I doubt TS is a Scorpio sun' because there was such much fail in the OP, I had to stop reading.

I have Venus in Scorpio and am extremely attracted to the mentally disabled, mentally ill, imprisoned, etc. All ruled by Pisces. I do not think I've ever been seriously attracted to a Pisces Sun though.

1.) Cancer -- I love almost every Cancer sun with brown skin. I believe it has to do with Cancer in the 5th house though. They can do no wrong in my eyes. For some reason they tend to go out with alot of guys who are extremely below their league.
2.) Anyone born in the year of the Monkey (Jupiter in Virgo) -- Wow. I'm not going to insult girls in the year of the monkey by trying to explain them in words. I will say I would marry one monkey who weighs about 290+ (I weigh about 180). That's how attracted I am to them.
3.) Leo -- They always treat me like I'm their son or something. I like that.
4.) Aries -- This could be number one, but I've encountered so few.
5.) Anyone born in the year of the Horse (Jupiter in Cancer) -- Would be the most beautiful sign bar none if it weren't for the Monkey. It's still a toss up though.
6.) Anyone born in the year of the Rat (Jupiter in Capricorn) -- They seem to love me so they present me with the eternal conundrum, 'Do you choose who you love or who loves you?'

well they say that scorpio's have an attraction towards Capricorns. but to me the best bet is Leo- Scorpio relationship cause it can intensify the relationship.

Hmm..well coming from a Cancer Sun with Pluto squaring that sun and a Scorpio Descendant, I can say that there is definitely a commonality between me and those with heavy Scorpionic influences. There just seems to be a very strong connection there. However, that tight, applying Pluto square Sun in my chart probably affects this greatly...I guess I am a slightly Scorpionic Cancer!

Leo = Power, power is a Scorpio thing.

I like how they're willing to take center stage. I don't have much trouble speaking in front of groups of people. I have little patience for those that can't handle a bit of extra attention. I like attention myself, and having a lioness follow me around makes it easier to attract it.

Leos seem to be lazy at times, so we can just lie around in the den with our thumbs up our AZZes relaxing the day away.

I can't give you an explanation on Taureans. They're just receptive to me.

Leos and Taureans are real friendly and attentive to me for some unexplainable reason, I only believe in going after girls that like me.

From what I've seen my life fixed signs are the most protective ones. I like the "mama" types.

I'm a sun in Scorpio...
I dated two Virgo's, one right after the other, and two Sagittarius', one right after the other.

I definitely know where you are coming from in regards to Virgos, Sundance_Kid. It was so difficult for me as well, the Virgo men I dated drove me up the wall.

One of the Sagittarian men I dated was for 4 years - never fought once or had a disagreement. We just meshed. It was pretty amazing.
I seem to have a kind of unspoken bond/instant connection with every Sagittarius' I have contact with...

What kinda funny is I've lived with Scorpio's and never had a problem. My sister is a scorpio and my last roommate ( a female) was a Scorpio. But I have never been in a relationship with one...

I'm now starting to talk to Taurus I haven't really read anything on Scorp and Taurus so it's a bit of a surprise to me that we get along as well as we do.
Maybe it's because my mother is a Taurus, and we don't get along, so I kinda naturally stayed away from being in a relationship with one

I have to say my worst/draining partnership is/was Aries. Its a constant fight/ guard up with that guy. Exhausting.

Anyone else have a Scorpio/Aries dating pattern? I would love to hear your experiences...

I'm a sun in scorpio conjunct pluto with a leo ascendant and a libra mars. I stay away from earth signs, they're to critical and anal for my liking, and pisces are indeed too watery for me too. I do like cancers though...some of them.

I'm a scorpio and I had 2 big relations with scorpion guys. One lasted 3 years, the other lasted 1 year and a half. It was deep and we went through the whole emotional spectrum. 2 scorpions together kinda create a world of their own where they isolate. It's great experience, but it's also dangerous. My scorpion ex tried very hard to take some kind of revenge on me when I decided to end the relationship.

I can't get along with pisces, my mother is pisces and we have a terrible relationship. They are too sensitive and they take everything too personal, including our need of freedom. They need to be handled with gloves, and I'm not exactly diplomatic.

The very best compatibility so far is with capricorn. My husband is capricorn and his moon is in scorpio. Also my moon is in an earth sign, so maybe that's why we can understand each other so good. We also have the same ascendant (sagitarius that is)

Scorpio sun here. Very attracted to Capricorns for some reason. They're sexy and contrary to popular belief, the ones i know are very sensitive souls!

In the case of friends, caps are still number one, followed by virgos, sag (i'm attributing this to my moon and asc in sag) and cancer. Pisces is far too emotional and unpredictable for me >.< Still, I do have one or 2 friends who are pisces sun and very attractive though it never lasts long between us.

On a different note, how come I always see people accuse Pisces of being overly emotional. lolz we are sensitive but not crazily emotional/fussy/drama queens. Like Sags, we are "mutable" and forget quickly probably we "deceive" you into thinking so~possessive is not in our dictionary either

that sounds like 2 of my Pisces friends. One has Moon in Scorp and the outer planets are all in Cap. All that watery seriousness makes her highly prone to panic lolz. Another is also kinda like a drama queen haha I don't bother to look at her chart. But it's funny to see Pisces swing both ways, couldn't care less (but see all though) and hypersensitive-emotional.

Back to Scorp again. My friend who attracts and always dates Cancers actually can't stand their clinginess/drama. Yet she seems to be stuck in that cycle. Any ideas :-? May be... her Venus in Virgo, Moon in Aries and Mercury in Libra? The rest seems to bode well with water/Cancer. hmmmmm

of the scorpio sun friends & ppl i know they tend to date other scorpio or cancer suns, with scorpio/scorpio their relationships were epic with a sudden break. the scorpio/cancer pairs have seemed more healthy and long lasting, of my taurus friends they are strongly attracted to scorps but does not last, usually blows up actually, well opposition.
i noticed that scoprios usually leave the relationship emotionally before they technically break up, so when they do it seems to catch the partner off guard & they move on almost immediately afterward. do you scorpios notice you do this?

Your perception rings true for me. After relating to a couple of scorpios, I started paying more attentions to those signs that tell about their next step...

Yes, it's true, we detach emotionally and then make a sudden move and just leave. As far as I'm concerned, I always gave plenty of signs that something was wrong in the relationship. If the other would have paied attention, he would understand that things are not ok. The problem is I stay involved till the last moment, so the partner always thinks I'm so inlove with him that there's no chance I would go. Which is half way true. I just fall out of love very quick when I understand that it's not worth it.

I'm not sure all scorpios are like that. I also have uranus conjunct the ascendant, so that could influence my sudden changes as well

Other fellow Scorps, mainly because we have a well understanding of each other, but I usually clash with them at first, or for the most part.

I get along with Pisces but I've never really considered dating one. They make great companions.

As for Cancer, I find it hard to be happy with them. It's hard to obtain something light, & casual. My relationship has always been pretty solemn. They usually make my closest buddies, & give me the worst scars.

Aries are pretty hot to me. Since I'm not really expecting anything serious for my age I go with these people, they're fun.

Pisces aren't known to be drama queens AT ALL. Like you mentioned, perhaps it's something else in your mom's chart which reflects this trait, like a Moon in Leo or something.
