And what a Full Moon it is! The first thing you notice is the conjunction to a Mars retrograde in Cancer. Which is still locked in an opposition to Pluto Aquarius.
The moon is in its domicile sign of Cancer. However, it is conjunct Mars, which is in its fall in Cancer. Both are out of bounds.
I see this as highlighting themes of unmet needs and the anger that comes along with them. It could also point to the past, to the mother or the matriarch, maternal lineages, even your home country, the "motherland", patriotic themes globally.
Also it could highlight themes of emotional security, and the flip side, defensiveness (Mars Cancer). Watch for overreacting, taking things too personally, over-sensitivity, over the top thin-skinned reactions, and passive-aggressive behaviour.
Constructive criticism is NOT your friend today! Wait until the Full Moon passes, before you dish out any pragmatic advice, however well intended.
It still has the energy of the recent Mars Leo opposite Pluto Aquarius, but with Mars back in Cancer, this could turn in towards the emotive, personalised slights, grudges, hostility.
The second major thing we see, are the Nodes. They have shifted to North Node Pisces, and South Node Virgo. This is a major paradigm shift and it officially brings the upcoming eclipses to the Pisces and Virgo Axis for the next year and half.
Mars makes an exact trine to Neptune Pisces. On the one hand, Neptune can smooth away, and soften the abrasive and hostile edges of Mars Cancer retrograde.
But on the flip side, it would be easier to act emotively on issues that are untrue, deceptive. There is a thick cloud of deception and delusion, globally. It would be easy to act on rash, patriotic, emotive impulses, based on heavily spurious and outright deceptive information that is readily believed without question - a trend that has already been active and growing for months, years (during Neptune Pisces)
Enter the South Node in Virgo!!
Virgo is definitely not one for accepting lies, and that's where the hyper critical nature of Virgo can reveal itself. Virgo sorts out, filters, fact-checks, audits. Similarly to Scorpio, Virgo is not afraid of the uncomfortable truth, as long as the end result is an orderly sense of clarity - we may intensely feel the lack there.
The Virgo South Node will reveal that there has been a decrease in critical thinking, and may go into excess to bring about the glaring flaws and real data to the forefront. The South Node shows what has been overdeveloped, expect "fact-checking" to go into overdrive!
Note the South Node ruler, is now Mercury in stern and pragmatic Capricorn.
Likewise, the Pisces North Node (conjunct Neptune) will reveal the increase in fantasy, magical/conspiracy thinking, gullibility. The North Node shows what has been underdeveloped, so it may turn out that what was readily believed without question becomes too obvious, hiding in plain sight. Almost ludicrously!
Lastly, it's fitting that the Full Moon is at 24° Cancer and the Nodes have left Aries/Libra.
When the Nodes entered Aries/Libra in July 2023, we had a New Moon at 24° Cancer. So we have come full circle!
Chart below. How will the Full Moon affect you? Mundane/global thoughts welcome
