And what a Full Moon it is! The first thing you notice is the conjunction to a Mars retrograde in Cancer. Which is still locked in an opposition to Pluto Aquarius.

The moon is in its domicile sign of Cancer. However, it is conjunct Mars, which is in its fall in Cancer. Both are out of bounds.

I see this as highlighting themes of unmet needs and the anger that comes along with them. It could also point to the past, to the mother or the matriarch, maternal lineages, even your home country, the "motherland", patriotic themes globally.

Also it could highlight themes of emotional security, and the flip side, defensiveness (Mars Cancer). Watch for overreacting, taking things too personally, over-sensitivity, over the top thin-skinned reactions, and passive-aggressive behaviour.

Constructive criticism is NOT your friend today! Wait until the Full Moon passes, before you dish out any pragmatic advice, however well intended.

It still has the energy of the recent Mars Leo opposite Pluto Aquarius, but with Mars back in Cancer, this could turn in towards the emotive, personalised slights, grudges, hostility.

The second major thing we see, are the Nodes. They have shifted to North Node Pisces, and South Node Virgo. This is a major paradigm shift and it officially brings the upcoming eclipses to the Pisces and Virgo Axis for the next year and half.

Mars makes an exact trine to Neptune Pisces. On the one hand, Neptune can smooth away, and soften the abrasive and hostile edges of Mars Cancer retrograde.

But on the flip side, it would be easier to act emotively on issues that are untrue, deceptive. There is a thick cloud of deception and delusion, globally. It would be easy to act on rash, patriotic, emotive impulses, based on heavily spurious and outright deceptive information that is readily believed without question - a trend that has already been active and growing for months, years (during Neptune Pisces)

Enter the South Node in Virgo!!

Virgo is definitely not one for accepting lies, and that's where the hyper critical nature of Virgo can reveal itself. Virgo sorts out, filters, fact-checks, audits. Similarly to Scorpio, Virgo is not afraid of the uncomfortable truth, as long as the end result is an orderly sense of clarity - we may intensely feel the lack there.

The Virgo South Node will reveal that there has been a decrease in critical thinking, and may go into excess to bring about the glaring flaws and real data to the forefront. The South Node shows what has been overdeveloped, expect "fact-checking" to go into overdrive!

Note the South Node ruler, is now Mercury in stern and pragmatic Capricorn.

Likewise, the Pisces North Node (conjunct Neptune) will reveal the increase in fantasy, magical/conspiracy thinking, gullibility. The North Node shows what has been underdeveloped, so it may turn out that what was readily believed without question becomes too obvious, hiding in plain sight. Almost ludicrously!

Lastly, it's fitting that the Full Moon is at 24° Cancer and the Nodes have left Aries/Libra.

When the Nodes entered Aries/Libra in July 2023, we had a New Moon at 24° Cancer. So we have come full circle!

Chart below. How will the Full Moon affect you? Mundane/global thoughts welcome 🙂

Is anyone feeling the energies of this Full Moon yet?

I think Mars retrograding back into Cancer is amplifying it somewhat, very hectic week (caring duties for elderly parents, that awful flu bug). The Full Moon will conjunct my Mars by 2° orb.

This FM formed a Cardinal Grand Cross in my angular houses w/ natal Jupiter in my 7th. Had an eventful meeting w/ someone (Zoom) which cleared up a lot of old emotional stuff which I've been carrying around. I have an Air Moon so I typically bypass feelings, analyze what's happening and re-analyze, forming a mental loop that really goes nowhere. The emotions are where we get healing, hey I don't like it anymore than anyone else. :) Venus/Saturn were conjunct in my 12th. Chiron is oppo. natal Jupiter on and off all year, too, which I just realized so it should be a continueing theme this year.

I talk with specialist after 4 months waiting to find out why my intestines and abdomen is so inflamed and painful.

My husband has a brutal tooth infection, this morning the whole side of his face was hurting. But brand new teeth hm.. infection seeped in somehow.

@StarchaserNancy both Jupiter-Chiron and Venus-Saturn are both no fun. I hope you rise above all this FM conflict!

Tooth infection is the worst! That can really derail everything, hope your husband can get it sorted and fixed. Is he going through a Saturn transit?

It's a very impressive looking moon in the sky tonight.

The opposition is a T square to my Sun and Venus; also Venus Saturn squares my Moon/Chiron whilst Jupiter opposes it.

Health seems a major thing for everyone, either directly or indirectly - sending sympathy and healing vibes

It really does!

I wonder if its the Mars Cancer, in its fall and retrograde. Mars being about movement and drive, which could extend to how healthy you feel. But it's hindered by its fallen dignity and retrograde position.

Sending healing energies to all too 🙂

Wishing good health to everyone! I have been low key miserable on the health front for a few weeks. Trying to worry (transiting SN in Virgo!) about it less.
Not whilst tr. Mars is in its long sojourn in Cancer. It can stir an active imagination into worrying about anything/everything. The Jupiter-Saturn square may not be helping, and Neptune/NN conjunction can lose all sense of reality when seeking, yet without any definite proof(Virgo) to go on. Mercury into Capricorn may help get a realistic grip on situations for a while.
Stay in there.🫸

I was thinking about the Jup/Saturn square too recently, wondering about its effect. Jupiter is rx, too. Any chance at a bit of optimism/expansion seems to be clamped down by Saturn.
