Hello,

I live in Florida and have been displaced due to damage to my condo from Hurricane Milton. Our downstairs flooded, we’ve lost all of our furniture and a tree fell on the roof causing a large hole in the second bedroom ceiling. My entire street was pretty much destroyed as well as several other homes in the neighborhood. Part of the issue is that we live next to a large retention pond and 3 of the 5 community pools are right next to us. I’ve always loved the neighborhood because of all of the old oak trees we have but apparently the HOA was advised by an arborist that some needed to be removed and they weren’t. One of my neighbors resigned from the board of directors in 2019 because of the negligence concerning pond maintenance. She is working with my property manager ( I’m a renter) on possibly starting a class action lawsuit against the HOA. She has emails and letters with other board members including the president explaining the necessity in maintaining the pond which they’ve never done. My daughter, dog and I evacuated to another county for the Hurricane so we weren’t there when the storm passed through. Thankfully we weren’t hurt and neither was anyone else, that I know of, in my neighborhood BUT we are all basically homeless now. Most of the neighbors on my street are homeowners, I believe I’m the only renter, they’ve been working day and night on removing drywall, flooring, furniture etc. The demo on my condo was completed last Thursday. The owners approved the $70,000 in repairs this week however the HOA is responsible for the roof and outside of the condo, they’ve removed the tree but haven’t fixed the hole. We’re staying at a hotel for eight days now. We now have to move our bedroom furniture into a storage unit so the contractor can start working on repairs but since the HOA still hasn’t fixed the hole, I’m worried we’re going to be displaced for quite some time. I had a fema inspection yesterday afternoon, I’m still waiting to see my eligibility for everything on the portal. I know I am for sure approved for lodging reimbursement until January but it looks like other items are pending. Any insights? I also had a job interview yesterday with a company my friend works for remotely, the job is mine if I want it, it pays more but I’ll be losing PTO since I’ve been at my current job for eight years now and am accumulating about 14 hrs a month whereas at the new place, I’ll be accumulating about 10 hrs a month for the first 3 yrs. Any advice? The insurance is a little higher as well. Several people including my former Director left the company I work for now to join the company i interviewed with so .. that’s something to consider.

Any thoughts are appreciated

Thanks!

I am so sorry you are going through this horrible situation. It does seem like the issue will take some time to resolve as T. Saturn currently passes though your 10th house of career and slowly opposes that powerful stellium in the 4th house. Neptune is also opposing Moon and Venus, your house was dissolved by a hurricane. I cannot imagine the pain you are going through. Definitely a hard time, but it will eventually pass. T. Pluto is trining your moon and it will soon trine mars in Libra, giving you an energy boost to fight this situation. But the difficulties related to home goes on, because Mercury rules your 4th house and it will be hit by Neptune and Saturn by opposition simultaneously. Could you post your Solar Return?

Im doing the best I can. I had to check out of the hotel we were living in the past two weeks and now find myself at my daughters dads house. Our relationship hasn’t been the best but we’re older now and in real need so he offered to let us stay here. He isn’t the most stable person ( drug issues) so I’m not sure how long this will last. My property manager said it’s going to take 60-90 days to do all the repairs and they can’t be started til the 18th because the contractor needs a permit to begin. I really want to continue my lease there, they’ve been good to me and the condo is being fully renovated BUT I do have the ability to rent a new place if I choose to. My daughter and I are going to try to wait til it’s ready to go back to hoping we will be able to. I was also offered another job making a little more but the medical premiums at the new company are much higher than where I currently am. I work for the largest health insurer in the US so obviously the benefits are a little better. Having trouble making a decision. Let me know if this chart is what you need. Thank you

The following period is comparable to some periods of your life.
For work compare with 2003/04.
For moving and home compare the combination of 2008 and 1984/85

If these periods in the past resulted positively, they will now too.

I barely remember those years but my life has never been easy. There has always been some sort of traumatic event happening or at least that’s how it’s felt. I’ve just never been displaced before from a storm and being homeless is not a feeling I’m used to. Our options aren’t very good, it’s either start all over again in other states, stay in a fema approved hotel nearby ( most are full) or stay with my ex ( daughters dad) who like I said isn’t the most mentally healthy person. That’s where we are now so we are going to try this out and see how it goes.

Kimmy, that is the wrong chart. go to astro.com -> Extended Chart Selection -> Solar Return. Post it as a stand alone.

But you don't reside in Nicaragua anymore. You've been in the US for a few years, right? You have to change locations.

The SR along with your transits says it all. Saturn right on the IC and Neptune in the 4th relating to floods and water damage to your house. They are both part of two nasty T-squares involving the 7th house, where we find the ruler of the year, Jupiter, alongside with Mars. Someone thankfully took you in (Jupiter), but the person is volite and there are risks in staying there (Mars). This whole thing made you uproot your life with changes to daily life, as indicated by Uranus and Moon in the 6th house. Maybe some ups and downs in health issues too. As for your job, ruler of the midheaven is mercury, which is located in the 9th house of foreign affairs and educational/religious institutions. What would the new job be? SR Venus also conjuncts the MC this year, which could mean a change of status or a job in the creative/beauty field.

And now I am scared too. Next year I will also have Saturn and Neptune in the 4th house.

Yes he is unstable. He’s doing ok right now but it’s only a matter of time , from my experience, that things will start changing. As far as my health goes, it’s always kind of up and down. I’m on medication for afib at the moment and I’ve had hypothyroidism for over twenty years but I do take thyroid replacement meds. The job is in the same field, medical billing position for a home infusion pharmacy. I’ve been at the current job for eight years, the benefits are good, more PTO and paid holidays plus the insurance premiums are pretty low . The new job pays about $3 more an hour but the insurance is pretty high. I know several people including my former Director and a manager from the company I work for now that have moved to this new company. I’m just wondering if I should give it a chance or stay where I am since there’s flexibility here that I probably wouldn’t have at a new place. Also I do have the option of terminating my current lease and getting a new place but I really like the neighborhood I live in, I’ve been there for close to a decade and my property manager says it’s going to look very nice when they’re done. I’m wondering if it’s worth it to wait ? I’m telling myself I’ll wait til no later than January and if it still isn’t ready, I’ll rent a new place but that seems so far right now.

I think whatever you do now in terms of residency, you will face delays. I feel insecure in telling you to switch jobs or not. I would not change jobs right now as you are already going through too much upheaval. I wish more people would chime in.

I turned it down on Friday. You’re right, it’s too much to deal with right now. The other company left the door open so I’m grateful for that.

I wish you good luck, Kimmy. Please update in case anything interesting happens. best regards!
