I am very confused about my True Zodiac Sign?

Hello. I'm here to ask a question in regarding my Zodiac sign because I'm really confused. So apparently the Zodiac sign that I thought I was might not actually be my true sign. My birthday is on Jan 19th 2005 and when I first looked it up online, I was considered a Capricorn sun with a Taurus moon, this was before I knew my birth time. Recently I've been curious about what my ascendant was and I never truly knew what time I was born until I asked my mother a month ago. When I asked, she told me that I was born around 8pm that night. I was very excited to get this revelation because now I could not only know my ascendant sign but my house placements as well!

I went on astro cafe, typed in the details and I was left with complete confusion. My ascendant is Virgo (which makes a lot of sense) My moon sign changed and ended up being a Gemini instead of Taurus. But what really had me puzzled is that instead of Capricorn remaining as my Sun sign, it switched to Aquarius.

The weird part about it is that usually Jan 19th is considered the date for Capricorn Zodiacs instead it ended up being Aquarius for me. Now here's the thing. I actually firstly went into denial because I thought there was absolutely no way I could be an aquarius and I was so used to identifying as a Capricorn. However I noticed that not only do I have Capricorn traits, but I also have Aquarius traits as well.

I am actually ambitious, tend to work hard as hell when I need and want to, practical and when it comes to my goals and what I want, I fight tooth and nail to achieve them. But I also can be very rebellious, I am extremely detached most of the times (especially when it comes to confrontation, I can be immediately be emotionally unavailable), creative in anything I do (especially when it comes to writing and craft) I love my independence and I can't stand when people try to hold me back or control me. I can smell a manipulator from miles away. I also agree with some traditional values but I also frown on some of them and I tend to lean alot on ideas that are ahead of time. And lastly I can be sociable on one day and the other days I would like to be left alone( I would get irritated if people bother me).

While I do believe that I am a Gemini moon and a Virgo ascendant, My Sun signs confuse me because I am literally a full on mix of Capricorn and Aquarius traits and if I would mention my birth date to anyone, they'll say that I'm a Capricorn. Can anyone help me with this? Is it due to the time that sun signs(and moon) can drastically change even thought that particular date is supposed to be the regular sign date?

Another thing, my mother is also a Cap and me and her clash alot like cats and dogs. Mainly because of control issues, disagreements, boundary issues and so on. I wonder if Capricorn and Aquarius mother and daughter gets along?

Hi and welcome to the forum!
Not to worry! Your signs did not drastically change. They moved into the next sign, since both Sun and Moon were in the last degrees of Cap and Tau and you were born later in the day. Nothing too unusual about this.
Saturn is the traditional ruler of both Capricorn and Aquarius so it seems appropriate the you are characterized as a hard worker.

I would guess that the clash between mom and you may be connected more with the signs and aspects between your Moons or perhaps other personal planets.

Thank you for the welcome! And thank you so much for your response as well. So I'm guessing that I'm actually an Aquarius, that's going to take some time getting used to. I'm still new to astrology so it can be quite puzzling at times.

If not, ask your family relatives to find the hospital you were born in, then you go to that hospital and ask the nurse to find the birth certificate of (insert your name), and then she will find it soon. If not, ask the doctor to find where he/she stores birth certificated, and then find your name inside that room, and finally, you found your time of birth!
