Is my ex-boyfriend with my ex-friend?

I broke up with my boyfriend after a long period of not getting along and I had some suspicions that he and my friend may have had an interest in one another and I was worried about there being something I don't know about. He denied it but at this stage I don't know what to believe anymore. I want to know whether I am being lied to and there really is something going on or if this is really just a big misunderstanding.

Astrologically, I think I am represented by Venus, my ex boyfriend is represented by 7th House lord Mars, and my ex friend is represented by Saturn, the 11th Lord. Saturn also represents unwanted partners so I think it is a fit.
Secondary signifiers if included, are Moon for me in Leo, representing my emotions, and Sun for my ex, in Virgo.

In terms of dignity and receptions:
Venus is in Libra, so I am in an alright positon in terms of dignity and in my own sign. I dislike Mars which is my ex, and hate Sun, which is him too. This makes sense as I am very dissatisfied by him and his behaviour. I exalt Saturn, which would be Dee. Not sure why, because I don't really like her anymore after what has happened, but this might just represent that maybe I view her as a threat to the relationship (Libra) I had with my ex, so I am putting her above us. This is the only way I can justify the exaltation.
Moon which is also me, in Leo, the domicile of the Sun, shows that I probably still have feelings for my ex, and dislike Dee (Saturn's fall).

My ex:
Mars is in Gemini. I am not sure what this means but as his sign is scorpio and it is in his 8th house and my 2nd, maybe it shows some kind of experience of loss from his part, idk. There is no reception to me, however. Nor to her. Mercury represents his 8th and 12th house (flipped), so I just imagine he is experiencing some kind of spiritual quest or internal questioning at this time (Gemini).
This is further confirmed by Sun in his 12th (flipped) also in Gemini. Sun hates like me as Venus is depressed in Virgo, but depression in a sign is probably exaggerated dislike. My idea is that he is in a space of questioning and analysing things, and being introspective due to the recent break-up and loss of what he had (what he had is shown by his 2nd house of possessions (flipped), represented by Jupiter which is in my 2nd House in Gemini, fall).

My friend is Saturn in Pisces, exalting me. To me this means she idolises me to some extent, which is what I feel. This is esp true in the sign of pisces. She shows no reception to my ex, which is a good sign for me.

Now based off receptions, I'd say there is nothing going on between them. HOWEVER - Sun, which is my ex as a man (which can also represent him as a sexual being), is approaching an opposition to Saturn. It shows a contact by aspect. I don't know how to take this information.

Any suggestions?

Just to clarify, I am asking this because this speculation was the biggest reason we broke up and I want to make sure the facts are correct of whether they are together or not. To know whether they were together or not would give me a lot of mental peace and clarity. Thank you.

But the astrologers that do reply are putting in some effort and time and don't need to be aggressively criticised even if the OP does not agree with the response. Horary charts are based on the perspective of the person electing the question and the chart that is constructed. Here it is regiomontanus tropical. You cannot later go and change systems to fit your own version. You would have to construct your own chart if you want to read it differently.

Well stated. Sorry it took us all this long to come to this valid conclusion. But it is good to be in a calm, measured and self aware state at this point. I think that's often the goal of a horary reading.
