I've always been told that I have a nice and lovely voice. What's the astrology in my natal chart that points to this?

Thanks everyone for the responses, I get this complement quite a bit from women. Personally I've always hated my voice lol, 😂

The first thing I'd look for upon hearing that about someone is major placements in Taurus. Taurus rules the throat, including the vocal cords. You've got one: Taurus Moon.

Next thing I'd look for is a connection between Venus and Mercury. Yours are sextile.

Since you always hear it from other people, those other people are always (or nearly always?) female, and you don't believe it about yourself, I really give credit to that Taurus Moon. Moon = women; at the DC = comes from others. It's something others give you that you can't give yourself (you don't like the sound of your own voice, but they do).

For what it's worth, some women (who are attracted to men) are more attracted to men based on their voice than on their looks. I know because I'm one of them. Looks only play a small part in attraction for me. Voice has a much bigger role. If any of these women who compliment you on your voice are also that way, that's saying something.

Another thing I get told about my voice is that I don't sound like my race. When people ask me what my ethnicity over the phone or online they're really surprised to find out well... I'm black.

Taurus in moon thingy perhaps?

I'd say it has more to do with assumptions people make about race and accents and dialects. There are plenty of false but popular assumptions about what Black sounds like. Or white. And since white is seen as normative in the U.S., people tend to assume whoever they're talking to online is white unless told otherwise. Or that whoever they're talking to on the phone is, if it's someone they've never met in person and they don't hear a name or an accent or a dialect that suggests non-white to them.

It is true that Moon correlates with ethnic identity. How do you live it? What issues do you experience around it? What approach do you take? That can be Moon stuff. And fourth house stuff.

While that experience is shared by lots of people, who have all kinds of Moon placements, how you described it sounds very Moon/seventh house to me. Running up against unconscious assumptions (Moon) from others (seventh house). Your Moon reflects how you yourself experience it, and how you respond to that experience.
