Hi community. Im wondering if a strong presence of Pluto (or Scorpio) could indicate a covert narcissistic PD or other malignant personality trait? Also, are there transits which make one more likely to attract manipulative/maladaptive people? TIA

In my research I regularly found a stellium with Pluto, the South Node and Sun involved in very dominant/authoritarian people. Curious about other views.

Narcissists are likely to have this kind of stellium, too, since Pluto intensifies the situation, and make the situation malignant, and Sun is the egoistic part, and South Node derationalizes the ego, a bit similar to Neptune.

Pluto square/opp. Sun

Pluto square/conj./opp. Moon

Moon square Mars, both square Sun, makes a Moon-Mars-Sun t-square, more likely if have Pluto and/or Neptune within one of the planets or aspect with one of the planets. Even more likely if the t-square is fixed and the moon is in the first quarter, the more Solar and the more physical bit of the quarter phases of the Moon (last, 1st quarter)

Could the north node also play a part if conjunct Pluto or is the south node more indicative - if just looking at nodal play?

We have to keep in mind that even though we can see signatures for certain personality types, not everyone with those signatures will be like that. It doesn't matter what we're looking at - narcissists, ADHD, autism, or any health issue - it doesn't matter. Like YOURRELBEAUTIUL said - astrology doesn't work like that. There can be more people who don't have what you are profiling who do. But, it can still be a signature. I've done lots of studies with 60 or more charts and there is never one planet or one planetary combo that stands out - such as Pluto or Scorpio in combo with South Node. That would not be a signature in and of itself.

Pluto will tell you to your face, or freeze you out. Healthy ones won’t waste time. ( Anybody for that matter)If you have really ticked them off, they might play with you for awhile until they eat you lol. If they do, you probably deserved it.
I made a Scorpio rising angry once. It even showed my own Scorpio sun something lol..
Water signs need strong boundries. Anybody that allows themselves to be wounded , is the byproduct. It’s very sad. All signs can qualify and it’s a wounded inner child that needs a hug badly, but, can’t accept one. It’s tragic actually if you understand them.

I think an interesting facet to include, is it possible, to detect a soul wound in a natal chart? Perhaps a Draconic family chart. Sometimes, you can see the actual split.
A great trauma in a family line? This is a subject near to my heart. Are they hard to love? Yes!! But, it goes a lot deeper than that. They are sick with an actual disease. If you are not strong in yourself, you too ,will go coo coo for coca puffs. It’s like dancing with fire 🔥
The mind games, the eluding, they are highly intelligent people most of the time. Remember, they had to learn how to survive without love. Somewhwre, they had that stripped away from them. Also, misery loves company. Working with them is hard because they will also find your wound and work that until you patch it up, or die. It’s that dangerous if you get a real one. More education less judgement and love yourself enough to not enable them, but, maybe set a good example of what healthy love is… they don’t know because they never had it. Also, remember it’s not your job to expose them or fix them…most of the time that’s a trap that just breeds toxicity and they will lash out and or isolate you into submission all sorts of fun stuffs so you stay put lol… it’s not funny, it’s dangerous. Sometimes you have to live them from a far and you leave quietly. There are agencies for women available that can help you prepare and protect your children.

It can, and doesn't have to. When it comes to narcissism I would always look for a sign of wounded ego, aka most often that is a heavily afflicted Sun. When we are talking about covert narcissism I would imagine it to be an afflicted Sun, often in a water sign, together with a weak or debilitated Mars. So they will use passive-aggressive or indirect methods to achieve gratification of ego.

Not all narcissists are malignant, though. However all of them are difficult to deal with at times. Being malignant to me means to cause pain deliberately, and with intention to do exactly that, not just because one is too self-absorbed to notice that they are causing pain or at the very least annoyance. Malignant narcissism is quite similar to psychopathy, and they will manipulate people deliberately to use them or control them. So in these cases I would look at what Pluto and the 8th house are doing in the chart... 8th house can be exploitative as it rules other people's resources.
