Hey All,
I would like to start collecting Natal charts that have Saturn under the beams. That is, within 15 degrees of the Sun, at birth.

The reason is this;
In the Hellenistic Tradition, there is a clause for this ONE specific Lot. The Lot of the Father.
In a Diurnal birth, we would mark the degree of the Sun, and count degrees in Zodiacal order to the degree of Saturn, and cast those degrees from the Ascendant degree, wherever that falls, we call it the Lot of Fathers. Often the Calc ASC+Saturn+Sun
Likewise
In a Nocturnal birth, we would mark the degree of Saturn, and count degrees in Zodiacal order to the degree of the Sun, and cast those degrees from the Ascendant degree, wherever that falls, we call it the Lot of Fathers. Often the Calc ASC+Sun+Saturn

However - there is a Hellenistic Rule.
IF SATURN IS COMBUST - take the Lot from Mars to Jupiter - no reversal. (I personally am hesitant to not reverse) Calc ASC+Jupiter+Mars

So - I would like this post to be dedicated to those that have a Saturn/Sun within 15 degrees to post their charts, and be able to do some constructive research on whether or no this alternate Lot should be observed.
I might add, that the little research I have so far done, seems compelling to use the Lord of the alternate Lot that tells the tale.
However, this is definitely a research topic. Please add your relevant posts, and questions!
