Need help with moon conjunct Chiron

Hoping to make a long story as short as possible:
I met someone at the wrong time and things between us kind of went to hell in a hand basket. I wasn’t in a good place mentally and I hurt his feelings (broke my own heart in the process too). The connection we had was absolutely incredible and something I’ve never experienced. We got into a bit of an argument one night and the following day I apologized profusely and thought we sorted things out for the most part since he agreed we could meet up in person to talk… didn’t happen. We haven't seen each other or really spoken since. This happened last summer; I’ve been feeling and doing so much better since this all went down.

I hope we can reconcile someday though everything I’ve found on Moon conjunct Chiron makes me feel rather hopeless.

Unfortunately I don’t have his birth time so I don’t know what to make of the other aspects;
The both of us have Venus in Aquarius opposing Lilith in Leo, his Sun & Juno conjunct my north node, with his moon on my south node to name a few…

am I kidding myself? Anyone have experience sharing similar placements?

Chiron is about wounds that don't heal. But they also show where, if we stay open to those hurts, we gain in wisdom and compassion.

I don't usually get all sentimental and metaphysical in a plain chart reading, but your post made me think of one of the definitions or "soul mate." A soul mate isn't necessarily the Love of Your Life, with whom you live happily ever after. You may have several in one lifetime. The person is in your life to contribute to your growth in some way. Once that purpose has been accomplished, s/he may well migrate out of your life.

Is it just possible that this person was in your life, so that, through your hurt, you could gain in wisdom and compassion?

A part of me does wonder if he was just a lesson; he was a catalyst for me to ‘wake up’ and make the changes I needed to get better. Part of my journey has been relocating and I’m not quite there yet (a few weeks). I feel like this part needs to happen before anything between us ever could. I know the ultimate goal in all of this is my happiness, and not to be with him… but I’d hate to think that he wasn’t meant to be in my life despite what we shared and what he’d done for me. We have a similar network of people; I don’t plan to reach out right away (if at all, I won’t chase people to keep them in my life) though I’m sure he will hear the news sooner or later.

He is the Chiron, and I am the moon is it possible I was a lesson for him too?

I believe so. Soul mate experiences, in the way I commented in my previous post, are a two-person thing.

For a "yes or no" answer, you might try asking about reconnection in a horary thread. Horary goes by the chart of the moment, not nativities.

Also, we could say more about your synastry if we could read the planets' degrees. For that we would need either a chart that showed them clearly, or a table of the planetary aspects. Not too many aspect lines, either; as they tend to clutter a chart.

I usually use whatever default orb comes up, how tight of an orb do you use/recommend?
