I know that Saturn, Chiron, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto all are or can be associated with complications and things not working out in a completely straightforward way.
In astrological textbooks Neptune is often associated with disappointment. Does this mean disappointments in the general sense, or simply being disappointed as a result of overexpectation or being unrealistic?
I have read one textbook which talks about how Neptune transiting the 9th house may, for university applicants, bring the disappointment of not being accepted by the university of your choice, or Neptune transiting the 10th house may bring the disappointment of a colleague being chosen for promotion rather than yourself. Books often talk about Neptune being associated with disappointments in marriage and love.
Are such experiences more likely with Neptune than with Saturn, Chiron, Uranus or Pluto? Do the other 4 just bring complications and difficulties of a different nature?
I have certainly experienced Neptune transits in terms of confusion, but I am not sure whether I have ever experienced one in terms of disappointments in the general sense. I would be more inclined to associate that with Saturn.
