New job opportunity but im scared it went too smooth and fast…

Hello,
I posted my thread a few weeks ago telling that i lost my job unexpectedly in Dec. 2023. All in all in January 2024 i was given an opportunity to work in some creative profession as i did almost 10 years ago while studying. I pursued this situation very fast and now I am a proper crew member of a new big project. Im really excited but also scared it went all very fast…The project will last 6-7 months. I know there would be many challenges and i will need to somehow connect it with my PhD time and writing the thesis. The work is very creative and it compliments my PhD research. Sometimes i just cant imagine im doing it… BUT…
I wonder WHY it happened so smoothly and fast? As a Capricorn moon with heavy Saturn and Pluto Aspects i was always used to life being difficult and hard. Everything i did in the last 10-15 yesrs was done in harsh way, jobs did not last, i was in toxic relationships… but now i feel like it could be my „territory” for a future job… but i dont want to „jinx” about it as its very early…

What do you think about this situation? I work now with more experienced professionals who teach me a lot and i will be their assistant during project time. My main boss is an Aries man - about 45-50 y.o and the second is 67 y o Scorpio Woman.
Do you think that i would experience some challenges with them? I never worked with Aries and Scorpio people… i always thought Scorpios are two faced… but maybe i experiened only young and unevolved one.

Last few weeks were preparatory ones with many looong meetings Everyone got to know dach other… i think im being tested by Aries and Scorpio. Even now more by an Aries man.

Do you think that our job and my position here will be ok and or will we have some issues?
( the job and information of this job was given to me by our common friend which is about 40 y.o. woman Saggitarius - she told them about me and somehow they agreed to work with me not knowing me at all… so i know im being tested even as a human being but i have this feeling i need to be very proffesional and serious at the meetings and whenever we meet to discuss projects… maybe even too much). I just hope they will have a good impression of me.. and i dont want to let them down and dont want to let our common friend down…

frankly…..sounds to me its already started! you have this amazing life affirming opportunity but have begun to fill with doubt about your own abilities. pretty soon this doubt will create its own rot. I would advise you to read up about sun sq neptune and understand that while for two years your life will be filled with disappointment, doubt, confusion, maybe even depression as nothing is as you thought it should be….. its still a jolly good opportunity and has amazing potential to offer you huge life improvements.

try living with the confusion etc with one hand but accept and with the other hand, work with the positives offered by the job that will be substantial.

with a sun aries accept the challenge and compartmentalise the two and experience both for good result. because at the heart of it, both are the same but do it differently. both improve your life, but one does it by regeneration to improve what exists, the other by dissolution to scrap it all and offer a new clean page.

yes. you are right. thank you! I am analysing this situation too much because I've never been given such a smooth change in my life. when I lost my job in December 23 I prepared myself and accepted the fact that I would wait maybe 6 months to get a job. now its different. maybe im just a bit more grown...

thank you. im doubting because it went too smooth for me. but maybe I will have some challenges in the future with that new job. I am used to be suspicious and work hard for a job, wait very looong and etc. but I hope it was just my "bad timing" with life. maybe now Im more confident and I need to receive more than I can conquer

the thing with neptune sun is that while disappoinment, confusion and loss of direction fills your life, you need to get that whats behind it is a purpose to broaden your options and future by completely vaporising what went before. so you will have a clean slate and a vision of so many options, so many directions, its almost too much! and at the heart is a feeling of inner doubt while neptune is still hovering and hoovering because while neptune is there…it wont allow anything to solidify. you get to see but you dont get to keep. you get the smell but you dont get the food. and thats causes depression. it causes doubt. its all part of the remake.

but the sextile of pluto is …i think…is your work for a phd. thats why it's a sextile. if you dont work at it, you will miss the achievement.

but if you get that conferred…its a hell of a step up, and its permanent. nobody and nothing can take that away that achievement. and that is a complete new perspective.

so yes, you will be both pleased, strengthened and confused, depressed etc at where you will find yourself. but you will soon make a life thats really amazing.

so keep working….keep focus. but accept the doubt etc as part of the journey of a new you being made.

thank you for this post. I came back to it because I remembered it from the February. This project finished and now I am given the opportunity to work in other project because I was already experienced with this first project starting in February. I am very glad because I will even be payed more and its totally different project and new achievement in my life. But when the good side is present there is always also a doubt Doubt with my PhD because my work in film industry ( as a part of my phd thesis - it combines architecture and film) does not meet with understanding with my PhD supervisor. he wants me to only work on PhD and focus on it while I need to work and provide for myself outside the academia for many reasons . the most important is financial reason because the PhD scholarship is very low and it doesn't cover all of the living costs. 100% of my PhD friends work outside academia usually in architecture profession or somewhere associated with PhD topic. And me? When I told him that I found a job in film industry in February he was so unhappy and made some weird passive aggressive remarks towards me and MY PRIVATE LIFE that I can't even say them. He is very disorganised and even hardworking on his own things he never have me an opportunity to develop in my career, he doesn't offer anything , only focused on himself. But when I do something outside academia which is similar to PhD his work are always telling that its too much and I NEED TO WORK ONLY ON PHD. Its a misscommunication as he doesn't now understand it. We had many arguments last semester

I think you are misunderstanding your supervisor and the Phd requirements. you need to understand what a phd is, what it needs to deliver and how the university structures the phd to make sure it can award one. He is not a career councillor. He is a phd supervisor for your phd work only.

you need to fit in with university detail deliverables and scientific facts …and paper publication acceptance. whatever tasks you need to deliver set by the university must be completed in time, otherwise you wont get a phd.

of course the university and the supervisor is inly interested in what work you do for phd snd only phd…the waynthe university can monitor it to make sure its applicable to phd at the level they can approve is detailed and scientific enough! You enrolled on a phd. it has to be monitored. It had to be supervised. No university will take into account what you do outside the phd. Its absurd for you to think that you can do some work outside on your own and the university will happily accept this! it doesnt work like this.

your supervisor is there to make sure you can deliver university level set work. Your success is his success.

this is how it works.

you clearly misunderstand what a phd is and how it works. you need to go talk to university to understand.
