President Donald Trump has signed an executive order ' to postpone the ban on TikTok as he tries to find a way to keep the app active in the U.S. - instructing the attorney general to delay the ban by 75 days.
President Trump’s extension follows a brief period on the day before the inauguration when TikTok went dark for roughly 14 hours.
President Trump notably called for a ban of the app due to national security during his first term but now is widely being credited as the savior of TikTok in the United States.

calling for the U.S. to withdraw from
the World Health Organisation (WHO) on Monday.
The President’s order calls for the Secretary of State
to "..pause the future transfer of any United States Government funds, support, or resources to the WHO..”
The WHO issued a statement on Tuesday saying it
“..regrets..” the announcement.
"..The World Health Organization regrets the
announcement that the United States of America intends
to withdraw from the Organization..”
the United Nations agency said.
