Has anyone heard of this new problem/issue called monkey pox. Watching the news apparently this one is curable. What’s going on with our world. One madness after another

It's about trying to keep us in a constant state of emergency--scare tactics.

In the U.S., the Declaration of Public Health Emergency has to be renewed every 3 months by the Secretary of Health and Human Services, or else it expires. ANY excuse to renew it will do.

All,

Just as a reminder, please do not push your point on others. While you can give reasons for your opinion, if you repeatedly question another person's opinion that can come across as aggressive or attacking. You can give reasons for what you do and why you do it, but it's best to keep the discussion general and NOT insist that an individual do what you are doing because you want them to do it.

About the Boundaries in Conversations,

Tim

Interesting. It leaves something out though--others are following the back and forth in a debate. For example, just picking one issue, the constant refrain that the 2020 election was somehow stolen, and that we therefore have an "illegitimate" President.
There may be some who are undecided, so I just present facts to the contrary. It does get repetitive since I'm just responding to the repeated claims of others.

The moderators have been unbiased though, so no complaints from me about how it's been handled.

Out for the day. Five, count em, five bugs bounced off my shaven head. This must be a sign. A sign that my head reflects sunlight too well.

Quiet day though. Easy flowing. Client was a respectable gent.

I now need coffee....is this the power of aging!? :ninja:

Mon Ami, JA, gave me the idea to put birdhouses around the property. Since I have many trees on it, that's one of the projects I'll be attending to this summer. Hopefully some crows will stop by....though leaving meat out would attract raccoons.

Thieves!: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZPtgh3JgXVs

I don’t leave meat out. There is breakfast, and if I am back, dusk snack. If I am trying to sleep in, they bemoan my laziness.

My regulars are crows, magpies, flickers, nuthatches, wood peckers, chickadees, blue jays, sparrows, peregrine falcons, squirrels, rabbits.
Water for drinking and bathing. Different sizes, everybody has their favourites. I have a metal gold pan that I hang from a branch, macrame holder I made, the squirrels and small birds and bees prefer it.

You will learn the sounds (from them all) when a predator is near, cat or other, if you go out and shoo away the predator, you will be earning their trust. I am not allowed to touch cats around here. They are always watching me, they don’t mind me touching dogs, but they are all very upset if I touch a cat, and they let me know it. The cats, see me and head the other way magpies and crows giving them heck.

I am trained.😁😁😁

Do you get hummingbirds there? They are a blast to watch, hummingbirds buzzing around, defending their ground, I held one when it flew inside and alit on the windowsill, I should have got a good look, cause when I released him, he was a blur of gone.

Speaking of predators - over where I'll be they have Red-tailed Hawks and certain types of Owls. Also have packs of wild turkeys that bully racoons.

Snakes, too, make the place their home which is exciting to me. I love catching snakes. :joyful:

Had to check, these little ones will become my backyard buddies: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ruby-throated_hummingbird

Tuesday - Mars day. A Tibetan Lama once told me that Tuesday was my greatest day. "Your protector deities are extra powerful on this day. Practice diligently, honor your protectors, they wish for your enlightenment." He added that I should read the Suttas (Buddhist teachings) aloud, so they can hear it as well. Was cool.

But woo-woo stuff aside: Pisces Mars day. The Barracuda. Hasn't been too bad of an experience honestly. Sitting in the 11th house does that, I guess.

Just wait until Mars moves to conjunct Jup in my 12th house: http://kellylmckenzie.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/pilot-sweating.gif

Funfunfunfunfun :sideways:

Have a good Tuesday, people!

Leomoon, I was just going to reply to your post on the MM thread when I noticed my post and your reply had both been deleted, even though they both contained astrology. I have sent wilsontc a message asking why they were both deleted. I am a bit annoyed/upset about it because I spent a lot of time on that post last night.

It's a good idea to get a job or productive activities. I wonder, where's your mars located, poohbear? What we know is that ur sun is cancer

There are options!

Plant to attract what you want to see. Plants for butterflies, birds and bees.

You are so going to have fun!

Moon flowers are cool, they glow in the moon light. Related to the morning glory. Nice for fences, and late night viewing.

Interesting. I see those Delphinium flowers all over the place, but never knew they attract hummingbirds. Everyday is a good day to learn something, thanks Opal.

Moon's @ 3 degrees tropical Aries, and Mars just went in also.

Blaze, try not to have too much fun. Saturn's watching!:rightful:

Too much fun? U wot m8? Considering my Venus/Mercury/Moon placements, fun is always on the menu. Gas giant can go kick rocks.

Though, I do have to pack up some more clothes, make boxes (the boxes, the fooking boxes o_O) and plan a bunch....not exactly riveting stuff. I'll find a way to make it fun.

Was out on my morning walking meditation when I found this little bunny: https://imgur.com/IEEwKsb

Let me get very close too. Such a cute little one.

Ran into the thick brush before I could give it a pet. Ah well, at least I got to say good morning!

Now that that's out the way - time to make boxes. Hope everyone has a good one today.
