Really bad Solar Return Chart?

Hello all,

My birthday is around the corner and I loaded my Solar Return Chart - there is tons of squares and a cardinal grand cross. What does this chart mean for me? My year will be hard? :/

I've attached an additional Solar Return Chart (with the Scorpio Ascendant), which could possibly happen but is the more expensive option - I would have to fly and stay in hotel, etc and is just a potential option as I would have to get the finances and logistics figured out. But I would need to book tickets soon if this option is better.

Which Solar Return chart would be better, and what does each chart mean for my coming year?

A Solar Return chart is a chart made for only one year in the life.
It is a very personal way to see how transits will relate to your natal chart

when the woman is a mother rather than a career type
or when there is no fire present
nor any ambition to be seen (Cardinal mode),
then we have to be careful. It could be a wish, not a reality.

keep in mind as well that even if you go to all that trouble and expense
there is no way of knowing whether or not it made any difference

Also, I might just stick with the Libra Ascendant place to celebrate my bday. You are right, maybe it might not be worth all the expenses when there is no way to know if the other place to potentially spend my solar return will bring a better year.
