Saturn in my second house--Am I destined to suffer?

Money problems, i´m about to lose what little i have, i hate my job becase it doesn´t give me enough and I feel as though I should be doing something else.

The last bolded phrase here is commonly said by someone who has a yod and hasn't figured out how to appease it's energies yet. This is what makes a yod so strong! It's propelling you in a direction and you inherently know when you are not on it's program since it makes you suffer... especially a Saturn apex yod. It's essentially asking you to let go and be guided by it's universal/divine purpose... maybe?

By the way, Astrologer50 was banned if you hadn't noticed. Every time I see a thread like this it reminds me of how helpful she was and how she's missed in many ways on this forum... even though she stirred the pot, which I enjoyed since it provided a lil more fire in the forums. lol  sorry peeps, but I do like me drama now and then between astrologers! Lol

Hello Still--thanks for writing. I´m sorry to hear that astrologer50 is gone. Stiring the post sometimes is a good thing. With respect to what you posted--could you talk me through what you said. I´m just an amateur student of astrology interested in understanding what is going on in my life, so if you speak to me too technically i won´t understand a word. I´ve heard about the YOD but I´m still not sure if it´s a good thing or a bad thing and what I should do about it. Could you speak to me as you would to a client, please?!
ps-tell me more about my saturn/moon...and how i must appease the Yod.

I noticed that astro50 included many links (which was true to her style). Have you read all those? Have you read into your quincunx aspects?

Here's a link on Saturn opposite Moon (scroll down a bit)

The search function on this board has been improved greatly recently to where you can now search using the google search engine just for this board!

There are many links here on Yods and you can get many differing opinions on them! They are rather esoteric, so sometimes having many interpretations helps to grasp this aspect pattern.

In my view a yod is an aspect pattern that produces an energy that the native is disrupted by. With two quincunx aspects merging to an apex, there is enough unusual energy present that will usually provide an "itch" of sorts, that needs to be "scratched". So essentially this energy promotes a search for something. This can be incredibly productive!

I wouldn't say that I'm an astrologer. I'm very new to this, as well, so it's difficult for me to tell you exactly what your yod requires. You see, I have yods in my chart too and "the search" brought me here.

I would study Saturn in the second house. I'm thinking that there is discipline required from you here. So, constant discipline in money matters, for example, can of course yield profound results! Since you have an emotional (moon) attachment to this, maybe taking classes in 2nd house matters, or reading books on this will help...

I havent read them but I´m on it now. Thanks. And what you say does seem to make sense. The itch that needs scractching..the need for discipline..hmmm, yes... I think you´re on to something! thanks!
