Hello there!

I'm new here, I used to frequent astrodienst forums, but are long gone now, and I really need help with a horary chart.

When the sigs are the same, or am not sure if I should use diff sig for a new job over my current one, I get stuck. I've been offered a new job, that seemed like it'd be really good, but then they left me feeling like maybe it won't be as good as they're portraying...and my current and last few jobs did the same, basically lying about some circumstances that i was very upfront about needing. So, I am looking for a new job, but don't want to jump into another one too quick if I'm worried it might end up even worse than this or the previous one, and they're wanting an answer asap 😶‍🌫️

I can see some transits applying, but they don't seem related to the direct sigs...moon in good transit to Saturn, maybe to Jupiter later, but not sure it would count for a direct application anyway.

Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks so much, bec

Hi and welcome becimagery.
I would take the 10th/Jup as your current job and 11th/Sat as the new one. And I take the question to be: Is this new offer what they say it is; it is a good as or better than where I am?

So we look at you as Moon and Jup, and the new job as Saturn.
As you describe, the new employer is very interested in you, Sat conjunct the Asc. You as Moon have reservation about them based on Moon in Ta's reception to Saturn. Not reception much there. But new employer/Saturn receives you/Moon by triplicity, and that is not nothing. There is an affinity.

There is opportunity for them to hire you as Moon closely applies to sextile Sat.
But is it a good job? Based on Saturn's lack of any essential dignity in Pisces, I would say that it is just so-so, not particularly good or bad. But maybe cannot be counted on with Saturn being peregrine.
It is better than your current one, Jup in its detriment in Gem? Probably.
It it were me, honestly, I think I might pass on this offer, wait and see what else might come along. This new job may be some better, but I am not sure it is enough to make a difference for you?

Thank you Ilene 😊

The offer's on the table, but at the end of the interview, which was stellar and I was thinking this might be just what I was looking for, something started to feel like a maybe not. I'm a chef, and would have taken on live in accommodation because of the location. And aside from the accommodation only being ok, I mentioned my (adult) daughter visiting, and he got a bit weird, bearing in mind it's a family run pub and even on that day their grandkids were running around the restaurant. And I've noted here that there's a great deal of family run places that treat hired staff like they should have no life of their own, and only "their" family matters, or are good workers etc. Plus my daughter lived onsite with me at many jobs, so them being funny about her just visiting left a bad feeling of other family run places which were negative experiences, like hmmm, well maybe it's not going to be any different from those places (a few family owned places have been the best places I've worked too, just seems hard to find more like those!). Like, as you said, the job itself might be a bit better than where I am, but probably not enough to warrant moving into for, and no one here so far, minds my daughter visiting, or even staying for weeks sometimes, even being it's shared accommodation with 2 others. So yeah, probably not worth it with the added hassle of them being weird about my daughter coming round, as she's more important than a particular workplace anyway! Just a shame as would really like to go somewhere else, as it's not great here...but it has to seem really worth moving for, as have moved around quite a bit since COVID ended. Work places being particularly trying as all have been seriously short staffed, but managers not wanting to help, or sometimes even make any effort to try and hire any! Lol

Anyway, thank you so much. I had thought maybe needed to use 11th house ruler, but wasn't sure.

All the best 💗

With Saturn, and then also Jupiter in detriment conjunct angles, with also Neptune square the Mc, I don't think it's a good idea because of the Jupiter/Saturn/Neptune energy, which would dampen expectations.

Thank you Chrysalis, I hadn't noticed the square with Neptune. In first house, maybe them throwing some deception to make me believe the job is better circumstances than it really would be?

Anyhow, I've declined the job offer in the end. I've had a tendency to just go for the first one that presents itself when I want to leave somewhere...but then it has often ended up being just as bad as the one I left 😂 and although I don't 100% feel my position here is safe in the meantime, especially with a new general manager having just come in, reckoned it wasn't worth moving to a place I was getting weird feelings about 🤔

Thanks so much for everyone's help 💗
