What are some signs someone must not live away from their home city/country?
I've heard astrologers mention a Fixed sun or Ascendant sign points to difficulties uprooting oneself. I'll add that a Virgo sun sign or ascendant must dislike change as Virgo strives for order and perfection and moving away disrupts one's harmony and life order by a huge margin.

I'll also say a moon in any fixed sign or in Virgo might be a sign that one better stay in their childhood city/country. I have Scorpio moon and have moved 4 times, 1 time within my own country and 3 times abroad. All 4 times I ended up coming back to my home country/city. Scorpio moon would give the native tendency to get into nostalgia for the past and ruminating.

I somehow prefer rediscovering the same familiar places in my home city and seeing them in a new way than moving away. All my travels have ended up in disillusion, dissatisfaction and hurt. I'm Leo Sun, Virgo Asc, Scorpio Moon.

I've seen signs pointing to a specific foreign country like whenever I use Flight Radar I see planes to/from there (a plane took off from my city as I was writing this and it is headed there, actually!) but I've been so burned by living away from my home city I wonder why bother at all? Maybe my constant wanderlust is just caused by having Jupiter in Gemini in the 9th house? How can I stop those cravings and "what if?" thinking?

I have had wanderlust my whole life, too. Saturn/Sag/9th and a restless Gemini Moon connected to it. Good thing for my Fixed Sun which keeps me grounded and practical. I'm tired of moving. I think just traveling around might be a better option if I need to do that, but a total relocation, ugh, seems like one thing better and one worse. I think some places are definitely easier to live at though. Abroad moving must be something else that many times. I haven't done that one, but spent a fair amt. time in S. America (05- 09) when Pluto was conj. Saturn in the 9th and oppos. Moon.

Maybe the people who shouldn't relocate are those who underestimate what it might entail. You leave behind family, friends and support system therein, you have to deal with culture shock, each day and every day, and the culture may or may not be a good fit for you. The bureaucracy for immigrants is not always as benign as it could be
You may think you are an expat but to the host country you are an economic migrant.

I've got a Mars/Pluto latitude and on a Mercury/Saturn line.

Still glad I got out though. When I see how things have declined in my home country since.

I feel tired from moving, I look for similar places in cities elsewhere. On the other hand, I realize I can never have any work success in my country whatsoever, despite being very close to my Jupiter MC line. My Jupiter is in Gemini which isn't a good placement for it I guess. 9th house so all it does is expand my wanderlust and often to fellow unsuitable places like the country right ot the south of mine. Every time I apply for a job there I can't even get an interview. This last Sunday I applied and got my dismissal email on Monday. That has happened many times. My lust to go there is caused by just being in my home city as when I went there I didn't enjoy the city, culture, country or people. I think it's because my Local Space Jupiter line points there. Ironically I almost got one job there but it paid very low, I was one of their last choices and made to feel like it and I was berated on the phone by the local HR person so I promptly refused and I feel like I dodged a bullet.

I am absolutely the same, I prefer to visit the same countries and cities instead visit new countries. I am Aries in Sun, ASC in Leo, Moon in Capricorn. I lived in few different countries and always in the end came back to my native country.

Everyone wants to relocate from where they live if they live in liberal cities, lol.

Happy new year all!
I just saw my relocation charts for places abroad I've been to and so far I've mostly been to places where my midheaven is in Taurus and I have a stressed Venus with an opposition with Saturn and Uranus. Saturn and Uranus are in my 4th house natally and those places I visited, too. I read moving to a place where my midheaven would move to Aries would be beneficial because it will make Mars rule my MC and my mars is exalted. Also, I was told I have to move to places where Saturn and Uranus move out of the 4th house. I have several places in Europe where I can test that. Some actually would see me having a MC in Aries and both Saturn and Uranus moving into the 5th house, which according to some astrologists is a better position than the 4th in a relocation.

My Sun DC line is also somewhat close to those areas. Except my Sun will go into the 12th house (I'm Leo sun) so Idk how it's going to be. Then Madonna is a 12th house Sun Leo and she has actually done quite well I'd say.

Coincidently those cities are in Spain and Portugal and I've noticed learning Spanish is very easy for me and I enjoy the sounds of Spanish, Portuguese and Galician (the Sun line is just off the coast in the Atlantic).

I'm a bit burned out from disappointments but maybe I must go to a vacation in those areas?
