The Greco/Roman god called "Apollo" in both Greek and Latin was guardian of the 9 Muse goddesses who were daughters of the Titaness known as the "Goddess of Memory" (Mnemosyne) and Zeus/Jupiter.

The motto inscribed above the entrance to Apollo's Temple was: Know Thyself

That's where the Muse of Astrology, Ourania/Urania, is especially useful.

Thanks, interesting knowledge. It is a shame that knowledge of these myth’s have been forgotten in society and replaced with religion. There is knowledge also to be gained from religion (even if misinterpreted), but the knowledge to be gained from the myth’s and archetypes are mainly lost. The main replica of it I have seen is in using active imagination techniques from Jungian psychology but how useful to know that a planet like Uranus can help you discover yourself if channeled in this way.

Shakespeare must have been an Uranian since he coined ‘to thine own self be true.’ I know he was a Taurus born in the Chinese year of the Rat.
