That, and his current legal troubles. I'd say the card definitely does represent where he is right now. It doesn't say anything either way about the outcome of this year's election. The question wasn't about the outcome of the election, it was about his overview for the year.

No matter how that turns out, Trump will be feeling five of cups-ish.u
The other day I saw a clip of Melania Trump getting in the car and blocking the door for Donald to get in, thus sending him to another car to get his ride. So, you see the back of him in his long black coat as he's walking to the next vehicle. Not unlike the image on the tarot card.

Makes for lots of restlessness, wanting to break free.. from whatever!

And I just recently had a breaking free experience. In this case, breaking free from a deeply unconscious, and limiting, belief that I didn't know I had until suddenly I didn't.

It correlates with the themes of my Sun placement and where in my chart Uranus is squaring it from, too.

Maybe not exactly five of wands-ish (see my card for the month), but my card for the year is The Lovers, and that can represent finding wholeness in yourself by accepting what you've disowned in yourself.

I just tried a variation of a spread I've seen @Ukpoohbear do on here: situation, what it means, what it does not mean. I've gotten a bit worried because I've been both texting a friend of mine and chatting with him on a couple of apps. Lately he's been reading my messages but not responding to them, after the last response he did send me was, "I'll get back to you about that later today." That was almost a week ago. What he was going to get back to me about wasn't an urgent matter, but it was a little time sensitive. Ordinarily, he's pretty quick to respond, so this is strange. And he deleted one of our chats. (Unless I deleted it by accident, but I don't think I did.)

The card for the situation: four of swords. Maybe my friend isn't feeling well. A couple weeks ago he told me that he'd just had Covid and was finally starting to feel better. Maybe he had a relapse. He also has some ongoing health issues, but those have been well under control as long as I've known him. If the other health issues are suddenly not as well under control and he had a flare up, he probably wouldn't be feeling like communicating.

What it means: ten of pentacles. That's usually a fulfillment card, but I'm not sure how it fits in here.

What it doesn't mean: three of swords. I take that to mean my friend isn't upset at me, isn't turning on me, isn't doing anything that would hurt the friendship. It isn't personal. Realistically, I don't see it being likely that it is, but the insecure side of me is capable of believing it. Until I drew the cards, my insecure side was starting to take over.

Any thoughts on the ten of pentacles? Other interpretations of the other cards?

Not on the cards, but if he just had Covid he might be suffering Long Covid.
I've just recovered from it, it can last a few months, saps your energy completely. Especially if he has other health issues.
Mine lasted 2-1/2 months, and I have no other health issues. He might not be up to going online. Have you tried phoning rather than writing?
Just a thought.

He tends to be more responsive to online messages or texts than phone calls. Which is why I didn't go that route.

But a few hours after I posted this, he did text me, and followed up with what he was going to follow up on.

I recently did a spread about a situationship I have with this guy.

For the card for his feelings. I got the 2 of Cups.

2 of cups is of course a sign of genuine feelings, but there is also the red dragon figure that stands inbetween two people, and that rings very true for this situation, because the guy is currently upset with me.

The red signifies his anger and the imposing figure inbetween signifies the barrier.

I wrote a post a few months ago about some cards that have a ‘bridge’ theme that works a bit like an applying aspect in a horary chart, but this red figure here is like a square, or a detriment.

So 2 of Cups is not a straightforward yes, it wasn’t 10 of Cups, for example, is was 2 of Cups because there is a barrier of some sort despite the feelings.

So where is the way out?

So where is the way out?

It depends on the context and individual situation what the exit plan would be.

Although, with the two of cups, there is certainly a motivation to find a way out because of the mutual reciprocity.

In the situation, it’s not really up to me because he’s the one with the problem.

I did pull a card to ask for advice and it was the ‘2 of swords,’ so the way out is just to wait for the guy to come to his senses and realise that he is in the wrong.

In the background of the 2 of swords, is a half moon, and that is a symbol of needing to wait for the full moon, or the situation to ‘ripen.’

Does someone want to do a tarot swap with me please? I have a question.

Did you find anyone to do it? Or get your question answered?

I'm afraid I may be too busy right now to volunteer, but I don't want your question to vanish when I make my own post....

This is the second hard angle Uranus-Sun transit I've had as an adult and the third in my life. Most of the truly chaotic times in my life have fallen well outside of those windows. I don't think it has any particular correlation with chaos for me.

The last direct pass of my Uranus-Sun square was on May 2nd. Within 24 hours of that, this happened. But I didn't know until a week later.

For the month starting May 15th, my card is Judgment. Fits perfectly with what I'm having to do now.

Wow, don’t you just love the hindsight with tarot*, it sure does have a sense of humour! 😂

I asked the question in Astroseek and got a reply there so I’m sorted.

But if anyone wants to do a tarot swap that’s cool.
