The fear of reopening a wound is a very natural response. We know what the pain feels like once it's been re-opened or scratched. I think Chiron lacks the learning gene on that one. Often re-looking for trouble because it's the only thing it understands - rut producing, actually.

My understanding grows consistently regarding chiron - much of a libra & piscces influenced planet- put the fear ahead of oneself - certainly we won't die from it, we know it too well - but will it ever help us to grow and thrive?

I have a VERY prominent natal Chiron in Aquarius and I have Sun sextile Chiron, Moon trine Chiron, Mercury octile Chiron, Venus quintile Chiron, Mars opposite Chiron, Jupiter conjunct Chiron, Uranus semisextile Chiron, Neptune conjunct Chiron, Pluto septile Chiron, ASC trine Chiron and even Saturn sesquiquadrate Chiron, Ceres square Chiron, Chariklo square Chiron, Eris sextile Chiron, Sedna square Chiron, North Node semisextile Chiron, South Node quincunx Chiron and it is very awful, especially when you have in in a prominent position in your natal chart and you have it aspected to every planet and almost every point in the chart. Like you, my Chiron sign - Scorpio - was shared by my father's sun sign, and his sun was conjunct my natal Chiron. At the time of his death, tr Pluto was very closely squaring my own Sun/Pluto MP. I am still in the process of unravelling the complex web of the outcomes of his time on earth, and how this has and still affects those of us who came after. Control, manipulation, lies, deceit - all regularly perpetrated by this very powerless man.

I have my Chiron conjunct my mother's Vesta and sextile my mother's Neptune, and it's a difficult relationship... Maybe I'm in this Earthy plane to experience hardships to grow to become a brave soul, a soul whose have lots of knowledge and healing abilities.
