When would I be able to change my job ?

I am on work visa and the company initiated Green Card immigration process in January 2023. Now, they are delaying the process - they delayed it for 6 months last year and delayed it again for another 6 months in March. I can't switch jobs till the process is completed and prior to the delays, my rough estimate to switch job was Sept 2026. Because of their 6 months delays twice, my rough estimate to switch job is now maybe Sept 2027 or later. It's getting delayed whenever company wants - because they know I would be forced to continue this job as I am stuck due to the Green Card petition.

On top of that, in my department there's a lot of favoritism going on. Folks on immigration who are stuck like me, have to work more than they can handle - due to fear of layoffs. But some people have it easy. It hurts me immensely. I am not happy with my current job and I feel like a caged labor there.

I have masters + 7 years of work experience in software engineering. So, I qualify to be a senior/staff engineer. But they recently promoted me to Level 2 engineer. (I was working as a entry level engineer before getting promoted, it's really funny) I deserve better.

Does this chart show any insights ? I am Mars changing signs from Gemini to Cancer. Moon is also changing signs from Leo to Virgo. 10th house is Mercury which is in 9th house conjuncting Moon (9th house ruler). I am unable to decipher this complex astro positions.

Please help me putting my mind at ease.

This is just me, but if you understand that you cannot change jobs until the fall of 2027 at the earliest because of delays in the immigration process, may I suggest rephrasing your question to read something like:
Will I be able to find to a more suitable job within a year [or some time frame] of my immigration process completing?

What do you think, my friend?
