Why am I so drawn to this person?

The person I am talking to has their chart on the outside and mine is on the inside. I have known them online since about summer 2016 and have been talking with them basically ever since then. They are one of very few people I chat with on a regular basis. I had sort of a huge crush on them that border on obsession at various points but they have been in a relationship ever since I have known them. They really seem to like me but I don't think they have much of a romantic interest in me, but within the past year I have had many dreams about them, and they keep coming into my mind a lot. Part of me feels maybe I could be with them in the future, but I wanna know more about whether we would even work out if we entered into a relationship. One thing about this chart is I don't have an exact birth time, but I do know that they were born not too long before midnight, and I feel their chart makes sense as they are always and I mean always talking about their family. They are very private about things however, and I kind of feel that there is more to their family dynamics than what they are sharing. Also they are highly intelligent, a future scholar for sure but they do have some political ideas that are different, and they seem to be a bit of a revolutionary in terms of their ideas.

Anyways, does anyone have any thoughts about the synastry between us? Also this is a person that I often go to for advice, even more so than my own parents a lot of the time. They always seem to have a way to help me in a way, a sort of mentor figure that I kind of have feelings for yeah.

As you can see, there does not appear to be many easy aspects or conjunctions that might point to ease of connection/compatibility.
There is a trine between your Venus and their Moon, which is nice. I am reluctant to put too much emphasis on it since we really don't know its exact position without a birth time.
In the overall, I'm not really seeing a lot of outstanding compatibility combinations between your chart and theirs or planetary placements that would draw you so strongly to them? Perhaps others may see more than I.

Progressed synastry huh? I don't really have a bunch of experience with progressed charts in general other than this one person that told me how one could see major changes in someone's life through the Progressed chart. This is actually something I am gonna look into, especially with my parents at certain points in their lives.

Venus square uranus can be really fascinating, but it can end in a puff as quickly as it started.
The neptune square venus, yes is delusion but the OP has this natally, so it occurs with all those born close to the same birthdate.
Neptune might be what induces the dreams.
The venus/pluto square and the pluto/mercury square can be very very compelling but overpowering.
The nice mars/jupiter conjunction in the 3rd house of the OP might be at the root of the online connection that is easy and fruitful.
Moon in the 3rd is intuitive, there is a good mental connection between the two.
However, as Ilene wrote, this isn't a synastry that has enough positive contacts to withstand a day to day relationship.

I like that your composite Sun is in the 1st, which means this is a significant relationship for the both of you. Very strongly placed, healthy and full of vitality. The Moon though, not so much. It's in a cadent house. Personally I don't like to see either light in a cadent house. But your strong Sun might over-ride it.

To have saturn conjunct SN in the composite, the saturn/SN in synastry is balanced by another saturn/SN conjunction or aspect in the synastry.

To have saturn conjunct SN in the composite, the saturn/SN in synastry is balanced by another saturn/SN conjunction or aspect in the synastry.

Yeah I just realized that after taking a second look and remembering what the composite does. A double whammy aspect will show up like that in a composite yeah.

What I saw in these charts is that perhaps your fascination towards this person comes from past traumas of you. The other person venus is nearly your IC, that rules your family, homeplace... You also have Chiron conjunct Venus, Saturn in 5th, and this person Saturn is sitting in your 4th. Saturn being brought to family and childhood houses. So my bet is that in a way or another, this relationship perhaps reminds you of unhealed familiar dynamics you lived. Trauma connections bond like glue because hits home. It doesn't mean the connection is good or bad. Just that the learning for you is perhaps to heal your relationship with your mom, dad or sublings. And as you heal these dynamics within you, it is possible that It may reflect in an easiness with the relationship with this person.

I think we cannot know these things just by looking through the astral chart. You gotta try to meet in person and see how it goes. But in the meanwhile I would suggest healing yourself with psychological therapy to heal family dynamics, or to continue to do so if you already do. Nearly everyone has unhealed stuff connected to our family of origin and Saturn in my experience deals much with these themes, the emotional maturation.
