Hi everyone,

I'm currently looking for a new role after facing redundancy 2 times last year. The last time was in December and I've only had 1 interview so far. I haven't heard back from over 90% of jobs that I applied for.

Will I get a job in a month?

Thanks very much in advance.

My sense is that this may simply be a difficult time of year in the job market? I say this because you/Moon are favorable in this matter with Moon being in exaltation.
I see your current job as the 10th and the next job as the 11th, ruled by Mars. It is favorable that Mars is in your/house and receiving you/Moon by dignity. But the job itself may not be so good with Mars in its fall in Cancer and retrograde, and you may not like it with you/Moon receiving Mars adversely by detriment.
Mars and Moon do not aspect; Mars’ next aspect is a favorable trine with Saturn, ruler of the house of your competition.

So these factors suggest to me that you are a very good candidate on your own, that other employers may be interested. But in the end, what is out there is not a good job or not one you would like, and so in this narrow period of time, your competition would most likely be hired.

Hi IleneK,

Thank you so much for your reply.

You are completely correct! The current job market is not great at all. In fact I just heard back today from another place that they decided to move ahead with a candidate who is more local than me even though I was more qualified for the job.
I've been noticing this pattern for a couple of weeks now. There seems to be a blockage every time I apply to a job that I'm qualified for. One place was excited to receive my application but then their funding got denied.

Do you see a longer time frame before I get a job that I'd like?

You are welcome.
The chart points to a time frame of a month, since that was your question. I do not beyond that one way or another in this chart for this question.
If I may, my suggestion would be to come in a month and ask again with whatever time frame you might have in mind at that time?

Thanks IleneK.
I'll be updating if there is any change in circumstances in this case. If not, I'll ask the question again in a month.
