I am supposed to go out with this older Sagittarius man sometime this week. It was supposed to be tonight but other plans got in the way. It’s definitely more of a hookup situation than a DATE. He’s different from a lot of guys I’d normally go for and it’s a little hard to read his exact personality over text, but i like what i’ve seen/heard so far. I am cautious with (slightly) older men though, so I’m wondering if this hookup will even happen, and will it actually be good for me?

this is pretty different from the situation.. It’s on my mind a little, only because i’m thirsty haha. he definitely wouldn’t block me, we text often and he usually texts first, it’s mostly been back and forth flirting or ‘are you free’, but we haven’t found a good time yet. he had to rain check our date last night cus he wasn’t feeling well and said he wanted to be at 100% when he saw me but that’s it. it’s funny you mention expectations cus we talked about that too, we both have none and it’s all very casual. no obsession here, honestly i’m more obsessed with two other people across the country. this guy is pretty random to me

This is interesting! I agree with this not being anything close to love. I’m not sure if i’m going through a phase right now where i am a bit jaded, or I’m just trying to explore my sexuality! Probably some of both. I got out of an ugly relationship earlier this year and it definitely changed how I view relationships and my trust. I think it will take more experience and reflection to heal that. I just wanted to know if this specifically was going to be a fun little experience that I would enjoy.
The networking aspect is interesting! All the people I’m currently talking to in some way are creatives who have talent & fans.

He texted me earlier today apologizing for cancelling the other night and asking to reschedule for tonight. I said yes and told him I’d be out of my plans after 9. Every time we’ve planned it’s been to meet up for drinks first, so you’re spot on there. I get out of my plans and see he just texted me asking if I still get out at 9. I said I’m out, and my eta is 30-40 mins, then joke about being covered in blood from the show I was at and send a cute selfie. He asks if we should reschedule because of the blood (maybe didn’t get it? maybe just wanted to resched- idk) and I said no it’s fake, I’m on my way, but at this point I’d just started walking around with my friends until I had a solid answer. He texted back that it was ‘getting late for a Monday’ and I sent a emoji and said ‘Let me know because the bar is only 30 mins away’. He just.. never replied? An hour later I joked ‘is my face blood a turn off’ and again no reply. If he has any interest left he’ll text me tomorrow apologizing for whatever that moment was, but I’m getting a little sick of the last minute cancellations.

Some other observations, from our texts, he is giving a kinky energy. About him not showing- Scarily accurate. It could explain all the cancellations! I almost made my way straight to the lounge after my show and I would’ve been ghosted if I had.
