Would I be able to survive current job for 2 more years ?

My employer applied for green card application but it takes roughly 2.5 years to get in the queue. For me, the process started in Sept 2023. If I quit now, the application will lapse and I would be at risk to go home permanently. I can only stay in the US till the application is in process.

I am very unhappy with my employer. There's no recognition for hard work, I am up for promotion since last summer and they have been delaying it. I am given entry level wages when I have 7 years of work exp. I feel terribly stuck at my current job. Everyday I contemplate to quit. But, I have worked very hard to be in the US, since 2013 and switching this job would mean to let go of the US forever.

Do you think my chart would be able to tell if I can survive current job for 2 more years and then I could switch jobs? I do want to stay in the US at least for a decade or two more.

As a fellow Taurus Sun, for whom the pat on the shoulder in the form of cash for work done is important, I can appreciate how you experience 'not being appreciated' by your employer. You may also feel that advantage is being taken of your talents. You would have to check whether your employer is following official lines re; salary scale. Or are you working in an illegal capacity whereby the attitude of 'be glad you've got a job/money' is their code?

If from a legal status, I can understand your employer's hesitation at not yet offering you the promotion you believe to deserve. What if you do not get a green card for permanent residence and have to leave the country and not only your place of work? What becomes of their confidence and investment in your abilities when they have to promote someone else in your place.

It's possible that the mental frustration of uncertainty (SO difficult for Taurus) is playing on your mind now because you have no personal control whatsoever over the situation you are in. Also, you may not be too strong on applying patience where it is necessary, which can cause depression to set in. ( Is this something your employer would notice when judging your capabilites?). If you can settle mind and emotions better, you may find your job less stressful and more rewarding for the future.

Looking at the chart, there is a promising aspect due within the next year when the progressed position of natal Sun, ruler of the 10th house of career and your place within it, meets up positively with the stressed feelings the the Moon, ruler of the 9th house with strong associations with foreign places and legalities of all kinds, can induce. With the planet Jupiter (optimism and confidence) beginning a new cycle from its natural 9th house position, new opportunities for advancement could well be forthcoming .......providing you keep your wits about you.

The planet of destruction of outdated patterns to bring something new (Pluto) will affect the 4th house. This configuration has been observed to correspond to transferring one's home roots for another that brings about a completely new focus on life.

Focus on yourself and stay united to what you do by absolutely wanting to listen to advance your thoughts and ideas in order to improve your aspirations as well as to be valued in relation to what is difficult to achieve that can enable you to realize your interests. Thank you for replying to my query. I am really not happy with my job. Everytime they come up with a new excuse to not promote me. Besides, the leadership is more into hiring incompetent engineers and it hurts a lot to see them getting recognized for doing bare minimum. I wish I could quit today but I have to deal with this job for 2 more years.

I think that for the moment, to achieve this promotion by achieving what is difficult to achieve, you must advance and evolve your ideas since you cannot be valued through what is difficult and your efforts to listen to advancing your ideas doesn't seem to work well... From October 2024, a more important period will begin to take shape and especially from the end of January 2025 when you will devote yourself completely to what you want to do. Be confident.
